Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

This is only one of several MAJOR issues sellers are being faced with lately. The extra 4% fee for snad returns is a serious conflict of interest that gives ebay a financial incentive to arbitrarily dish out bogus INAD cases against sellers.

All of the problems of late have me seriously considering my options. There are not many viable alternatives out there. I have resisted the river for a long time, but I'm thinking it might just be time to start moving some things SOMEWHERE else. Starting with the listings I'll have to redo because of this latest display of ebay incompetence.

Okay checked the latest ones I manually relisted and all seems fine - so far at least.

There's one thing that's at least consistent when selling on eBay, and that's that it's "always SOMETHING".

It looks like they are making progress. My last several GTC renews within the last hour had all the photos included.

Previous listings affected are still missing photos but at least it's not happening with new ones anymore.

Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

I have a store with 2500 listings. As they are being relisted with my Good till cancelled Images not showing up.  Some listings are only showing up with 1 out of 4 pictures. Called Ebay a few times and they made it sound like I was the only one having problems.  Last person I spoke to told me the Tech people don't work weekends. They told me to reload my missing pictures by hand...........SERIOUSLY????  Ebay is a mess. They should have less seasonal up dates and get the site working like it did in the old days. Very bad.

Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

My last 5 listings that have renewed within the last hour or so have retained their images, so it looks like they may have stopped any further damage from happening. As for all the rest of my listings that were affected from earlier today and yesterday: I have already fixed them myself. So, I don't know if the images will be restored or not. It will be interesting to see if they find a way to reverse the damages for those sellers who opted not to edit theirs and wait it out.

We all need to call the selling/listing dept so they know this is a site wide problem!!!

Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

Anchor Support turned off their phones for several hours, I assume they were being inudated with calls and they needed to figure out what message to tell the callers.  They are finally answering the calls this morning but the "fix" they are recommending is not working.  We were told to click "Revise" on those listings missing photos, make no changes, and just click "Update Listing" and the photos should come back.  We tried that on one listing but only the main photo reappeared.

Lesson learned - I should have backed up all listings and photos to a 3rd party site.

Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

Posted on another thread - worked for us:

The easiest way to recover them is to search google cache. To do this google your item number and you will hopefully see your listing come up. instead of clicking on the clickable google search result link itself....look immediately under it and there should also be a green link that shows the actual address. To the right where the green address ends there is a down arrow. Click in and view cached. Then click on your image to expand it and right click and save.

Re: Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

We are having the same issue. Wasn't aware of this until this morning. We have over 2400 listings and just randomly checked some of the GTC listings and sure enough, they are missing pictures. It seems like the newly relisted ones on are okay now, however, what happens to the ones missing the pics? Are we safe to assume eBay is not able to get them back and we would have to retake the pictures as we don't save our photos? Thanks

I also had some listings with missing photos. I simply ended the listing and I hope this issue gets resolved soon.
