Did you mean:

Sellers blame eBay when their sales are down.

Why do they blame eBay for that?

The economy is down. People tend to cut back on buying when there's nothing left after paying for necessities.

Maybe people are waking up

Just read Zamo-Zuan's post above.  That's the best sum up I've heard in a long time.  I'm not ever going to argue about this with anyone, I know it's true.  Other veteran large sellers know it's true.

Trump's exact words on injecting disinfectant.  It was HIS suggestion to them.

"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?"

What a lot of people missed (I didn't because my background is biology so nerd details stand out to me) was that the scientist guy who spoke immediately before him said it took five minutes, then Trump said "one minute" and literally doubled down, repeating it.  Same for how the scientist talked about ultraviolet radiation, and Trump proceeded to re-write that science to "or any powerful light" as if types of radiation are just wattage numbers, good god.  And then of course, that scientist was ONLY talking about killing the virus on objects like tabletops and doorknobs, etc. .... but OF COURSE Trump wanted it to be about curing people already infected with the virus, because he wanted an easy fix for this whole pandemic thing to just go away, so people could continue eating in restaurants and whatever, and not ruining "his" economy.  He made that his #1 concern from the very beginning in early 2020, starting with the infected cruise ship passengers, and he claimed the pandemic would be over by April "like a miracle."

But here's the thing that always gets me about the "injection" press conference.  Yeah it immediately became the gift that keeps on giving, regarding his stupidity, and rightly so -I remember news hosts even pointing out how stupid it was of him to pose these ideas about  putting light and disinfectant into "the body"  the moment they came into his brain, on a live broadcast, rather than wait and ask the scientists privately so he wouldn't make a fool of himself if they were foolish ideas.  But to me IT WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN GARDEN VARIETY STUPIDITY.  It was upper-echelon Dunning-Kruger effect stupidity; he thought he was too smart to be stupid, in fact SO smart, he might have just thought of new medical procedures that had never occurred to any researchers before.

And why wouldn't he risk saying something stupid on live TV?  -If his ideas were actually brilliant, then nobody could say they weren't his since they were on tape ..... and if they were stupid, no matter how incredibly, jaw-droppingly stupid, his "fans" would not mind one bit,  and they would do all kinds of mental acrobatics to defend it, spouting "TDS" to anyone who knows what they heard.  Like the MAGAt in this thread did.

Gotta hand His Royal Alphavictimness one thing -he may be a moron, he may be a narcissist, but he knows the ultimate risk/benefit advantage of having the poorly-educated in his pocket.  He can literally tell them, "I don't care about you, I just want your vote!"  (June 10, 2024).

And they will give it to him.

@andreyprince

It appears the thread has taken a different turn, in a way, in my humble opinion helps nothing or no one.  But that is just me.

While you and I don't agree on many things, I respect your right to believe what you choose to believe.  It is also my opinion that the ONLY way we are going to start to heal this country is through civil conversation and a honest attempt at understanding each other.  This constant venom that is spewed only divides us more.

Many say they want to see the country not be so divisive and all the discontent going on between us.  It simply isn't healthy for us nor is it health for the Country.  Yet they keep trying to pick fights with others that see things differently than they do.

I am sorry.  I felt our conversation was a good one.  I learned things from you and I sincerely hope you learned something from me.  It is my further hope that you will do a bit of research on these things you are so firm with in your believes and see some of what the other side is.

The media is much at fault here.  There are some outlets that only speak to one side and completely misrepresent the other.  So because of this it is important to venture out and get our new from multiple ways in order to get a more accurate picture of what the reality actually is.  I wish you the best.

Gotta say, it's pretty hilarious to see a denial reply directly underneath Zamo's clear explanation.  Granted it was only 1 minute afterward so they obviously couldn't have read his whole post and made theirs in that time ..... but it's not like he hasn't posted his evidence and explanations REPEATEDLY over the years.  He most certainly has.

I reckon the eBay sellers forum attracts far more conspiracy minded people than most conspiracy websites do.

eBay seller since 1999. This is a posting ID.

Who doesn't have the common sense to know disinfectant cannot be put inside the human body?  It is still a ridiculous thought!

Not sure if the economy is down as every single place here in my state is looking for help because business is booming, 1.5 unemployment in my city does not represent a bad economy but just the opposite. What your selling and price does make a difference.

Considering the amount of stuff I sell within a week or two of listing it, it seems that is in fact how it works.

I listed 36 new crane game prizes from the end of May into June. So far I've sold 14 of them.

You're way behind in news...if you can't keep up with current events, it's best not to join in and pretend you know what you're stating.  Also, take your emotions out of this.  There's plenty of forums dealing in politics, if you're bored.

Yes, it has been extremely consistent that anytime anyone legally goes after him it is a set up, he is being persecuted, it is a witch hunt, etc. Is any of that true?

Estimating property value is not an exact science.  Trump's supposed crime: overestimating his property values, but only pertaining to some of his properties.  I think if you let your rational brain digest reality and the facts, you would understand how legally dumbfounded the case is.  I have nothing more to add.

I didn't even vote for him the first time around cause don't really like him that much. But after I seen how much good he did for this country, I did and will vote for him again. He's not a politician, that should give anyone a reason to vote for him.

Good response.  It shows you have a rational mind and think logically.  Others use their emotional brain, and let TDS take their sanity.

Completely agree with the what you're selling matters.  What you're selling and the price point are important.

But, regarding unemployment rate, Denton, Maryland is a small town of 4900 population...not a representation of the country.  Maryland U3 reported unemployment rate is 2.8%, but U6 unemployment rate is actually 5.8%.

I love Maryland, and sell postcards, mostly to and from Chester, Kent Island.

Or using a Sharpie on a map to "prove" that meteorologists said Alabama was included in a hurricane's impact trajectory.   🤣
