I have a buyer who wanted her money back because the item did not fit her. Also she left it a week after delivery. It was stated quite clearly that i don't except returns for fit issues, the measurements clearly stated as was the fact this was final sale.
Ebay closes the case in my favor and says I do not have to give her a refund.
A week goes by and Paypal tell me she's opened a case with Paypal to get her money back and Paypal has put a hold on the money in my paypal account for 30 days.
Buyer has not returned the item.
I had no idea this could happen even when ebay close a case in my favor.
I am so dissapointed with Paypal and the whole ebay experience quite frankly.
Any advice appreciated.

A few things:

Unless I am reading this wrong, give Pay Pal a chance to go through the process. Also you need to make sure that you respond to Pay Pal as they request. It does not sound to me like Pay Pal has found in the buyers favor at this time, they are just holding the money so they can do an investigation.
Don't get your panties in a bunch, just wait it out. Buyer may not have to return if Pay Pal finds in your favor. Buyers remorse is not covered under Pay Pal protections.
Good Luck

I had this happen to me. The buyer had requested a refund because it didn't fit. We always put in our listing. " Please check measurements for correct fit. Clothing manufacturer sizes vary greatly. This garment is sold based on these measurements not by manufacturers’ label size."
Buyer had 14 day to return it buyer pay shipping, no return from buyer within the 14 days. Ebay found in our favor. So the buyer file with pay pal 45 days later .... Pay Pal found in our favor Too. I believe it took almost 70 days. If it spelled out in your listing there should be no issue with pay pal, especially when the customer never returned the item. Never had an issue with pay pal on returns. knock on wood just takes a long time..

Contact PAYPAL and show "proof of delivery" and PAYPAL rule in your favor (and put money back in your account). PAYPAL is very good as protecting vendors from scammers and fraud.

This can happen, but it rarely does. If you have your ducks in a row, Paypal will find in your favor. I have had success calling Paypal directly, and explaining the issue and that eBay found in your favor. A call can speed up the process.

Yea and let Ebay make more decisions about your money......like they already are looking out for me the seller.

Not only can the buyer go to Paypal, if that doesn't work, they can go to their credit card company.

@caldreamer I am confused. The buyer did not say she did not receive her purchase so why should the OP call paypal and show proof of delivery? Paypal dos not need proof of delivery when the buyer has claimed "signifigantly not as described".

In the Paypal dispute, state that she can return the dress for a full refund.
Paypal will require her to pay to return the dress with tracking.
If she does not return the dress, you win the claim and owe nothing.
If she does return the dress, refund.
No Returns does not mean No Refunds.
The eBay case was Buyer Remorse and if you had accepted a 'return for refund' she would have been required to return it to get a refund.
Then either she pays out to get her refund and you have a dress for resale, or she doesn't and you win the claim and she cannot leave feedback.

The buyer has no chance with their cc company based on her own admission. Chargebacks are very difficult, they only work when the buyer maintains their initial claim of “damaged” or “counterfeit” etc, or they circumvent eBay and PayPal.

I meant in general. Buyer can go to Ebay, the Paypal, the credit card company. It is often said they get three bites of the apple.
