Seller selling item that belongs to an other seller?

I found a great animation cel from Japan that I like. The problem is that the seller is selling the item with the same exact pictures of an other seller I found listed in mercari Japan? Basically this seller raised the price and if someone buys it, he is going to buy the cheaper one from the original seller and ship it!! How can I report this buyer?

It may well be cross-listed.  Sellers do that now out of necessity.  It sells on one platform and gets taken down off of the other one.

Nobody but the big guy upstairs gets to be the morality police.  Why don't you buy the cheaper one yourself?

Nope. The other seller is selling chothes and one random animation cel and this one is selling everything Anime and figures. Completely different sellers. Not stupid.

Some sellers use photos/descriptions from other sellers....it's not a policy violation.....

That's exactly what I was thinking. Once I had a listing for a large doll which I sat in front of my fireplace for the photo shoot. Imagine my surprise when I saw another seller w/ the same doll sitting in front of my fireplace as well. 😕

Sellers are apparently allowed to use other sellers' pictures on eBay.

Why don't you go ahead and just buy the cheaper one?

I know of sellers who cross-list and will use different prices on different venues. Don't bother reporting... buy the cheaper one, if all other factors are equal. Good luck.
