What does a buyer have to do to get a seller to leave feedback.

Nothing.  Feedback is optional/voluntary for either party in a transaction.

Some sellers leave it.  Some don't.  Some believe it's a waste of time because buyers can only receive positive feedback.  Feel free to ask the seller if you wish.  That has no negative repercussions for you as a buyer.  

And apparently you didn't leave any FB for your seller.  (Unless this was just a test question and you've not made any purchases here.)

You should go back to the question you copied and see what others have posted.  Why are you concerned about feedback?  Have you registered to be a seller yet? You should make that a priority so you can start selling soon.  You should also consider the Ebay academy seller school.  It's helpful and can teach you to be a proper and good seller.  Here's a link to get your started:
