At one time eBay would remove unwarranted neutral/negative feedback. Do they still do this? Thanks.

Yes. Here's the link. Add the name of buyer after profile:

Good luck!

The buyer says that you cancelled the transaction without giving them the full time to pay. Buyers have up to 4 days to pay, so when did you cancel the transaction?
As long as you cancelled the transaction with the reason "Buyer hasn't paid" then any feedback left for the transaction should be removed.

To continue: But if you cancelled with the reason "Buyer requested" (as the buyer suggested) then you are not protected from negative feedback. Especially if the buyer did not ask for the cancellation. In this situation, the buyer is entitled to state his opinion, and you don't have a valid reason for it to be removed.
It looks like you relisted the item after about 3 days and almost 2 hours.

If you had waited the 4 days and canceled for nonpayment, and not canceled early and used Buyer Requested, they would not have been able to leave feedback.

I have zero confidence in the new feedback removal process.

Buyers get 4 days to pay? Who made that rule? I was taught when you buy you pay or make arrangement with the seller. That's great next time I'm in Walmart and get something I'll tell them I'll be back in 4 days to pay. We'll see how that goes over. eBay has given up so much to buyers, it all started with not being able to give Neutral/Negative feedback to buyers. Just sayin.

Change all your listings to "immediate payment required", then the buyer has to pay right away.

Yup.
eBay policy.

eBay does not remove feedback unless it violates eBay policy.
As far as I know, eBay has never considered the seller's opinion about it being "unwarranted" when deciding to remove feedback.

eBay made that rule. eBay policy states (and enforces) that the buyer has 4 days to pay before the seller can cancel the transaction with the reason "buyer did not pay".

That is a nonsense argument. Walmart does not honor eBay policy.

Many other have said the same thing. But many of them - like you - continue to use the eBay site anyway.

The people who own and run the website.

You are an experienced seller, so I'm sure you are aware of defects for cancellations. The feedback given by your buyer sounds like you used a reason that bypassed getting a defect by claiming the buyer requested it--not cool. If you had waited the required days, and they still didn't pay, you would have had the non-paying buyer reason available to use or they might have paid.
I'm not positive, but having ebay look into this negative might backfire if I'm correct about the reason you chose and the buyer claims otherwise.

I do, this must have been from a "Send Offer"

You sound like a buyer. I like eBay, I've been selling there for over 20 years, just don't like some of their "Policies". Who makes eBay policy? A board, eBay employees, or eBay members? I also sell on Amazon also. Much better selling & buying platform.
