If you were on the Chat today there was some good discussion on Seller Hub but one of the big concerns is eBay's ability to quickly revise it to be a more effective tool. There was one comment made in response to a post, " ... The goal of Seller Hub is to centralize functionality in one place rather than have multiple tools with different functionalities in different places. It does not yet have all of the functionality we envision for this tool ... "
While I get that, the current format is spread out that all the functionality has to be searched for, scrolled to, clicked several times to get to. It also sounds like lots of the older Classic formats will eventually be history.
I've been using the Hub for a few weeks now and put a 2nd ID here in it myself. There is some good functionality that I like on the Relisting tool on the Hub compared the older Classic style. There are some good Shortcuts that I like. There is however simply too much wasted space on the Overview page in the various tiles and my concern is that the fix for that will not be forth coming any time soon and not before other older format functionality has been discontinued. And yes, I keep harping on this because it lies at the center of many complaints I have read about the Hub ... the Customization needs to be completed AND allow Sellers to size the tiles and create their own lists PLUS combine the Selling Tools list with the Shortcut list ... full customization will give sellers some ownship as to how they structure it to satisfy and support their business profile as a Seller.
I encourage folks to keep using the Comments link to point out things you like and don't like ...
Below is a pic I prepared from my Overview Page ... what I want to see is the black areas turned into the "functionality" mentioned above ... take a look, there's enough black space for another tile on the first row ...

5 - white space seems to be that you want more options on the first viewable area of the overview page. I get that but seller hub has plans to use real time stats for many of the options so that white space you see right now is reserved for use at a later date. The SH is going to change often but what is important right now is
I really only use 5 of the modules
Left to right 1st row - Tasks - Sales - Orders
2nd row Shortcuts - Selling tools
Shortcuts you can highly customize by putting in your own tabs and rearrange the tabs in that box. This sounds like a solution for you with your purchase history tab. Just add it to your shortcuts box and it will be available inside the seller hub as you are requesting and move it up on the first row if you want as well.
_______________________________________________________
First: Shortcuts is NOT cusomizable on my SH ... the tool is there and I try it but it does NOT function
Next: ref to White space - if they made tile size and lists and space within in tiles customizable which would put at least 4 tiles per row then what they do with the white space won't matter because sellers, like myself, will only program IN what meets the business profile ... and program OUT what is unecessary
Finally: I get that they have plans but they have not graced us with an outline of exactly what they plan to do. There are good features to SH but the format is not one of them.

Enough ... I am seriously regretting using that word 😞 Continuously repeating it in replies to me is just insulting.
2 - Custom labels issue. I think you are mistaken here as well. You never asked about how to do this, your words were complaining about not being able to do this. But you as an early adaptor as you mentioned you would think that if this was something that was going to be needed a lot you would have found the solution or at least asked a question about it in any of the hundreds of threads about the SH. I get it that the extra work to find the items broken would not be an easy one based on your inventory system but that is not a seller hub issue.
I have mentioned it, in quite a few discussions ... just not YESTERDAY's because I was not available yesterday. I have also used the "Comments" and "tell us what you think" links multiple times.
My inventory system works just fine.
My SKUs are based on Original Purchase Date (as I explained earlier) 2 digit year-2 Digit Month-3 Digit Number 16-12065 was purchased in December 2016 and was the 65th item that was purchased.
The shelving unit that collapsed (A1) had 3 shelves, divided into 3 Sections each (A1-1-1, A1-1-2, A1-1-3, A1-2-1, A1-2-2, A1-2-3, etc). Each Section held about 12 Glasses. Aprroximately 108 glasses total (some singles, some multiple item SKUs)
Not everything broke.
My inventory sheet has all the locations noted next to the SKU number.
16-12065 is in location A1-2-2 it is a Single Lenox Encore Champagne Flute x 8 (8 Total) with a cost each of $$
17-09011 is also in the same location ... It is a pair of Luminarc Domino Champagne Flutes x 2 (4 total) with a cost per pair of $$
Instead of being able to pull up the item directly out of active listings by the SKU, I had to look it up on the inventory, find out what it was and then find it by name.
An option to select SKU "Equals" would have saved a lot of time. And I don't see why it isn't an option, that is all. I want all of the Selections for Searching to be available to me that were in Selling Manager Pro ... what is wrong with that?
Forget everything else about Purchases and Accounts ...

I understand you might want 4 tiles per row but you have to assume there are real reason they do not have it that way. I also find it confusing why this is such a vaulable request? Is it just that you want as many tabs available on your visable landing page (overview page) as possible? If so maybe moving your shortcuts box to the first row and add links to it. Otherwise I am not sure why this is so important?
Also I just tried adding my purchase history to the shortcuts menu and was successful I also checked the redirect and it was perfect, so I am not sure what issues you are having doing that, but here is a screenshot to show you.

Just a couple points. First I think I have a solution for your purchase history to be included in your seller hub. Review posts 31 and 33 to see how to do it and what it looks like.
Now about your SKU (custum Label issues). You can actually search by custom label in the active listing page. Look under the Item Title drop down box to find this option.

<< Now about your SKU (custum Label issues). You can actually search by custom label in the active listing page. Look under the Item Title drop down box to find this option.>>
Nope ... "Contains" is the only option... there is no option for "Equals", "Does Not Equal" or " Does Not Contain"
10-05-2017 01:30 PM
@goodluckselling If you go back to the 2nd pic on the one post I made about the wasted space you will see that yes, I have many tiles and"tabs" as you call them, on that 4 tile row plus anything that needs immediate attention (sold items) or I might want to review (items with bids, number of pre-paid listings I have left, etc.), quick check on the number of Unsold items waiting to be relisted, etc.. Essentially I want to make the Overview Page just as if not MORE comprehensive to the Classic My Bage where most important things ate there. On the Shortcuts list I like the links to PayPal, it saves a steap as does accessing Site Preferences ... I do that not just for myself but to answer questions here for newer members. So I want to see as much information that I used on the first row of the Overview page ... that is ALL the same info PLUS MORE than what was available on the older Classic format. THAT to me would be an improvement. Then if I want to go somewhere from there I will simply click and go ... if there is nothing that needs my attention nor any work I need to do then I leave without having to scroll around, turn off the space wasting Guaranteed Delivery banner, etc.
As far as you "have to assume there are real reason they do not have it that way" I would beg to differ. I think they simply programmed in fixed width blocks with "X" number of characters across and NO way to adjust width like one can on specific pages or say like an Exel spreadsheet.
Look, so you know, I am NOT against SH nor have I taken the "I hate this" point of view. I just want it to be improved over what it is now, which is unfinished and not fully customizable.

I am not sure where that graphic is coming from but my directions were to go to your active listings page then look at the top left area and use the drop down box for item title and change it to custom labels, this should do what you are looking for.

Yours actually looks like the SMP options 😞
Does it give you "Equals" if you select "Custom Label (SKU)" ... Mine doesn't even say SKU, Just Custom Label ... Here are my options under active listings
10-05-2017 03:14 PM
@penguins_dont_fly That is possible and I do not recall very much about SMP as it has been almost 2 years since I used it.
If you were opted into the seller hub they might be showing you one version where I am still using the beta version from a couple years ago. I also use a home PC. If you are using a mobile device that version you are showing might be for mobile only?
I do not know why there is a difference but these are the suggestions I can think of right now.
Good Luck Selling!

That screenshot is from my laptop
Win10 - Chrome
I'm confounded. Why would they give a SMP user the dummies version 😞 And why have different versions, anyway.
It just causes confusion ... like now 😞

@stoneledge wrote:I like to use the Comments? links on the Orders and Listings pages.
Unfortunately, for the newer version of the Listings page that only one of my eBay accounts has access to, the Comments? link is now a Mailto: hotlink rather than a link to a URL with a comments page.
In EDGE, I can't get the mailto: link to work and i use that eBay account in Edge.
so ebay is missing out on a lot of good feedback. Comments should link to a page, not to an email mailto: link
I too use the Comments link regularly on SH ... on a certain page I get the email version but typically get the survey with no ability to attached or imbed a picture. But they have all the pics I prepared for space saving ...
After all the comments I have submitted by email AND survey (which asks for your email in case someone wants to contact you) I have YET to receive an email back ...
I've received emails back thanking me for the feedback at least 4 times. They are from a real person at eBay and are not automated. They often are specific about the topic I wrote about.
Sometimes when I leave Comments? feedback I link to a clearly written topic that I've created here on the Community so that the eBay staff can look at the conversation about the topic. I try to pick links to clear, conscise topics that I've created to discuss issues with the Orders page or Listings page in Seller Hub.
I don't like the mailto: link fo Comments? that is used on one of my eBay accounts for the new Listings page in Seller Hub. I use EDGE for that eBay account and I cannot figure out how to configure mailto: links to create a new Gmail email within EDGE. I don't have an email client on the computer. I understand that you can attach images in the mailto: where you cannot in the Survey page. A workaround for that would be to put your images into a new Discussion topic here on the Community and link to that from the Survey page when you need to.

Not different versions of "seller hub" but different versions of the "Listings Page on Seller Hub."
I have 2 eBay accounts that I use every day. A couple of weeks ago, one of them was automatically moved over to a NEW version of the Listings Page in Seller Hub. They are definitely different versions.
(For a short time, on the New version of the Listings Page, they even had a feature to toggle a button to "EDIT" whch turned the Listings page into a new Bulk Listings Editor. It kept the new look and feel of the new listings page and did not switch the page over to the legacy Bulk Editor. That feature lasted for all of an hour or two. It was cool, though.)
But I can confirm 100% that there are two different versions of the Listings page live right now in Seller Hub. Different eBay accounts will have the different versions. The New version has a new look and feel. The Search tool at the top is DIFFERENT between the two versions. sandy@ebay.com if that's the right tag may be able to check your account and see if can be moved over to the new version.
10-05-2017 03:49 PM
Of course having two versions of the Listings page live at the same time on Seller Hub makes it IMPOSSIBLE for intelligent people to help each other here in the Community. It has literally created discord over nothing. The same thing has happened over different versions of the Orders page being live at the same time.
I don't know which eBay blues to tag in this, but will try . I know there's a Sandy but can't find the right Tag (thanks Lithium) alan@ebay might know. I think that Sandy from eBay had helped me move my Orders page from the Old version back to the New version a month ago.
