Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Mentioned in my post of Seller Check In Highlights from about 6 weeks ago:

Chuck [Van Pelt] shared sneak preview screenshots of upcoming changes to the Seller Hub Orders page and Active Listings page surrounding search/filter navigation on Active listings, features to more easily access repeat buyer history on Orders, and more. I strongly encourage everybody to watch their networking session.

Here's that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZeU_ynzUAY

I heard from a seller that has the new view today, at least for Active listings. I forgot to ask him about the Orders page. (In the video I loved what eBay did with repeat buyers on the Orders page.)

With my buddy's permission I'm posting screenshots from his new Active Listings view compared to the old view which most of us are still seeing. Green line is the divider. Top = current soon to be old view | Bottom = new view

Disclaimer: These images are from different computers and browsers, probably with different zoom settings, so don't assume that because the bottom one looks so tiny compared to the top that it actually is. I'm showing the comparison so you can see the changes in function and how everything is in a slightly different place under a more compact view with new filter buttons.

thankfully and and fortunately my account has still not been switched over to this new design so hopefully it is still just a misguided test- there still might be hope that it will go back to the way it should- efficient and logical!

My account had the new design for a few days, then it reverted. Kind of weird 🤔

Was suppose to be to dhbookds -

OK ... NOW you have fixed our problem.

"after entering something in the search box -- (and BEFORE you [me] out of habit move the mouse and click on blank space thus making the 'flashing line' in said search box go away) ----  click "enter" on your keyboard"

It only worked last time because someone else here who doesn't move the mouse did it 'right'

Again, thank you

I see your problem !

You assumed that 'efficient' related to a Sellers benefit. Now you should know by now that changes made are invariably for Ebays benefit not yours.. rather naive to assume that as an Ebay seller you come anywhere near the top of the list for consideration, its all geared to the buyer, and given that its now free to list, the situation will only get worse (not that it was ever that great for sellers anyway).  So tongue in cheek, we carry on ...for now ! Have a wonderful day 🙂

Incredibly  hard work to get you payout up to a week after my goods have been sold

Ebak makes it as difficult as possible to find you account balance, and withdraw it .

they must be making a lot of money on the interest on the moneys they are withholding !

What happened to the feedback column on the orders shipped and paid page?

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Nobody care about us. All of this just made for the companies who is doing all these new programs and new updates: they are making money for themselves. We had the same problems in our company: just only got used to new program, which was corrected during several months after "updated", but not - there is already another new on the way, and it take forever before it will be installed and work right exactly for our manufactory business and our needs. How much our time was spent for nothing! I don't care about the money our owners spent for this (their money and their decision), but how much time and nerves we spent in our department. 🤦‍♀️

Same here. I am getting tired from this. Before it was fun for me selling on ebay, but now all these small things just bother more and more.

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Just got the new active listing page - Based on your screen shot from July, they have listened and 'added back' a 'start search' icon in the search bar - very good - and the 'auctions with bids' line was also added back - Also very good but should be bigger.

And if it didn't before, the page is counting items check-marked and shows the total - unlike the new unsold, drafts and scheduled pages.

Other then the auction with bids line being too small --- as far as I can tell the page is just about the same as before. They just move the chairs around and changed some posters.

This new design is awful.  I used to be able to see if an auction item had a bid at a glance.  I do not see an auction with bids line.  Maybe because now I have none?  Anyone know if you can revert to the old page?

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

To make matters even worse kyle@ebay , eBay has removed the useful "Status" filter where I could quickly filter out of stock listings, and replaced it with "listings with watchers."

Who gives a bleep about the number of listings with watchers? I have listings that sell out of my entire stock in a matter of days or weeks that never had a single watcher. Watchers mean nothing. I think most of my watchers and followers are competitors because everyone and their mama steals my listing photos, my hours of hard work. 😡

On a laptop view it's defaulting 2 buttons I don't need - send offers eligible and listings with watchers.

They are hiding the most important buttons behind all filters which are "categories" and now they are hiding the also-important "status."

I am so fed up with this.

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Well, I just got rolled into this the other day & b/c I've been gone on & off for the last few months, this is the first time I'm seeing this thread.  I can't believe no one has mentioned it, but the first thing I noticed, besides how ugly it is & that so much functionality has disappeared or been hidden (yet again), is that my #1 most used Filter is GONE.   It's not hidden, it's completely gone - Handling Time is gone.  I've confirmed this is an intentional change.  They took away the functionality & have no other way to do it unless you want to use Bus Policies.  I used this constantly b/c we get snowstorms all winter & so I change my handling time with each snow storm.  Since I also send a lot of SIO's, I'm now locked out of editing those for 4 days.  This wreaks havoc with the way I run my business!  I don't understand how you take away functionality with no warning & no valid reason!  They could easily put it back under the All Filters.   And no, you cannot use Time Away instead b/c Time Away doesn't function with SIO's.

This is the 3rd or 4th recent redesign that has made everyday functioning MUCH more time consuming, click heavy & convoluted.  All functions that used to be simple & worked well, but have now been 'redesigned' to be a lot more laborious & time consuming.  Every single one has added additional clicks & taken away functionality that worked great.  This is unnacceptable!   As is trying to make everything on the website look like a phone app.   PC users want PC functionality & most eBay sellers actually run their business on the PC!  The app already exists for those who want functionality on their phone.  I do use the app, but not for very much, it's too cumbersome to do anything with the tiny screen & print.

devon@ebay  Can you please pass along that the Handling Time Filter being removed is ridiculous when there's no other way to do the same thing & some of us use it ALL THE TIME!   I have notifiied certain people, but should probably do this the official way too.   Thanks!

@valueaddedresource  thought you'd like to know that they removed this functionality with no warning & no other way to do it.  It was my #1 most used filter except for the one for Sending Offfers.   I'm so frustrated with these constant changes that only make things worse & more cumbersome!  Esp in the 4th quarter!

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

I  keep loading eBay up on comments about the new seller Hub changes.  It is awful.  Keep sending complaints to ebay to get it changed back.  It is more time consuming.  I can't even see what items have bids on them w/o scrolling through 500 listings I have.  AWFUL!
