Making "don't allow offers" your default selling preference

Is this not possible? I probably list something once a day or two and I swear it was my default for a long while, and just the last couple days I've had to start changing "allow offers" to "Don't allow offers".

Resolved! eBay is letting scammers getting away, actually encouraging them. I am out $525 right now.
