Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Mentioned in my post of Seller Check In Highlights from about 6 weeks ago:

Chuck [Van Pelt] shared sneak preview screenshots of upcoming changes to the Seller Hub Orders page and Active Listings page surrounding search/filter navigation on Active listings, features to more easily access repeat buyer history on Orders, and more. I strongly encourage everybody to watch their networking session.

Here's that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZeU_ynzUAY

I heard from a seller that has the new view today, at least for Active listings. I forgot to ask him about the Orders page. (In the video I loved what eBay did with repeat buyers on the Orders page.)

With my buddy's permission I'm posting screenshots from his new Active Listings view compared to the old view which most of us are still seeing. Green line is the divider. Top = current soon to be old view | Bottom = new view

Disclaimer: These images are from different computers and browsers, probably with different zoom settings, so don't assume that because the bottom one looks so tiny compared to the top that it actually is. I'm showing the comparison so you can see the changes in function and how everything is in a slightly different place under a more compact view with new filter buttons.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but in Active Llisting you cannot search for just Active Listings without including out- of- stock.

To my knowledge that was never an option - not with the old menu or the new one.

You could by the drop down menu of showing all active listing with more than 0 in stock or 1 or greater.

Who was it that had the old version still - was it you @mcdougle4248 ?

Can you grab the filter link for @trip98 to bookmark?

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

On the overview page of the Old Seller Hub there was a line that would show you if you had any duplicate listings. It's gone now. Is there a new way to search your listings to see if you have any duplicate listings?  Once in awhile I would create a duplicate listing by accident and this feature would alert me and I would go and remove it. Was very helpful.

@infoandy

I have the previous versions of Seller Hub and Active Listings pages. The links below still work for me. I have been sharing links for the last few days, some links work for sellers with the new design pages and, unfortunately, some links seem to no longer work.

Here is the Link from the Seller Hub Overview page

Here is the link from the Active Listings page

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

I'm convinced the design team doesn't actually use Ebay in any way, or have accounts where they sell like normal people. There's just simply no way they redesign everything so much and it creates MORE time, MORE inefficiency. It just doesn't make sense why they make these changes. I lose so much extra time with each new change, so many more clicks, 3 times as much scrolling and constantly removing features and not replacing with anything else.

Even after the big changes a couple years ago my productivity to list is way down, there's just no way I can list as fast as before.  Which means less stuff to sell which means less money. So, Ebay will charge more in fees for the loss in sales.

OK!  We've been b____ about this for over a month now. Is there no way that we can get someone in eBay management to look at our gripes and work with us to make things simpler for us as sellers? There has got to be someone in eBay that would look and respond to our concerns. Is there no one out there that knows how to contact an eBay manager?

Well, there is that big eBay Open going on in a couple of weeks, with live meet-ups in multiple cities on... (pause to look at calendar) September 24th, followed by a couple of days of on-line programming of some sort, so you might have some opportunities to confront eBay managers either in person or on-line.

I would suggest maybe boiling it down to two sides of one sheet of paper, so that you could hand them something in print that they could digest later. Expecting them to remember a verbal gripe in the middle of a whole bunch of glad-handing and promotions is probably not realistic.

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

I find it extremely frustrating that Ebay has eliminated the line at the top of the active listings page that would list the number of watchers, number of bids and number of items expiring in the next 24 hours.  Why would they eliminate this?  Instead, they added more dropdown menus - which means more clicking & scrolling (which is highly annoying) to access this info. And even the dropdown menu doesn't offer any info on number of bidders!  It's ridiculous.

I really wish ebay would stop making unnecessary changes to the format/layout - because they always make the format WORSE!

Is there any way to revert back to the old format?  Does anyone know?

Re: Seller Hub Active Listings, Orders, Overview - design changes rolling out

Please, please, please, tell me what you told your mother about send offers.  I just had this new layout flip over to me yesterday and my quick filter for send offer has disappeared.  I've looked through all the side panels and can't find "send offer"...so I don't know if it's missing or there just aren't any offers to send.  So frustrating, ebay can never leave well enough alone.

@artdeco_rater

I still have the old page. Here is the link I see for the Send offers-eligible quick filter:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active?pill_status=sioEligible&action=search

I don't know if the link will work for you since you have the new page design, but I hope it will.
