In my feedback for items sold, it also includes feedback for purchases made. THAT IS WRONG. When someone is viewing an item for sale and clicks on the Seller Feedback Rating, the feedback should ONLY include the seller items that were sold. NOT THE PURCHASES THE SELLER MADE.

You are the only one who can see what you purchased in feedback..there are ways to see the purchase by others, but it takes a few more steps.

Nobody can see the items you purchased so that should not be of concern. You could use a different ebay account for buying in the future if you are concerned about buyers seeing who you purchase from. It's ok to have more than one ebay account.

My feedback on my seller account does not show feedback for items purchased (well , not for years, and years), as I do not buy & sell on the same account. I did when I was an eBay baby, but grew to learn that buying & and selling on the same account can be problematic.

If a potential buyer is interested in seeing your feedback as a seller, they can click on "feedback received as a seller".
But yes you are right, they will see feedback from buyers and sellers.
Considering that sellers can only leave buyers positive feedback,
what does it matter if a potential buyer sees 100 positive feedback for you as a seller -or- 200 positive feedback for you as a buyer & a seller?

The prospective buyer is there to see the sellers ratings. That other information is distracting.

That's one of the many reasons why I use a different account just for buying (and another just for posting here.)

Yep, you're right. My complaint is actually a recent change, because only a short while ago, the prospective buyer did not see that additional information about who the seller has been buying from.

Oh, it's not just that. The most relevant information is now missing. With a few clicks the history includes both sales and purchases the seller made. It's very difficult now to separate the sales from the purchases.

One click on "Received as seller"?

When I click a seller feedback received I only see feedback left for that member as a seller.
I do not see any feedback that member has as a buyer.

...your topic could be a potential idea for eBay's IT in making changes...

"Distracting"?

In my feedback for items sold
Feedback is feedback. Anyone can see anyone's feedback for both purchases and sales. There is a button on the screen to see just selling feedback and just buying feedback.
it also includes feedback for purchases made
If you are worried others can see what items you bought, they can only see the feedback and not the item description. Only you can see that when you view your own feedback.
When someone is viewing an item for sale and clicks on the Seller Feedback Rating, the feedback should ONLY include the seller items that were sold.
I disagree. eBay should not show different feedback for the same users simply because you got there from a different place.
I have been reading this board for two decades and I cannot recall this issue being brought up before. So I will hazard a guess that it is not a big deal to very many people.

When I go to my Feedback Profile on eBay, I can click on "Feedback Left for others", "Feedback Received As A Seller " or "Feedback Received As A Buyer".
Isn't yours set up the same way?
