I'm just wondering if my Diversity Profile (or lack of) does not meet eBays expectatons thus making all of my sales disappear
Allow me to quote eBay ....By measuring the diversity of our seller community and your inventory, we can better meet the diversity of our buyer needs.
Anyone anyone

Your prices are way too high. You've been told this at least a dozen times by at least a dozen different people and you steadfastly refuse to listen.

What, you're against pricing diversity?

Please..Stay on Topic.
I am trying to discuss Seller Diversity as it relates to sales.
Thank You.

You're accusing seller diversity of being the reason you aren't getting any sales. I'm telling you that's not the case.

Lets take for example that I don't have enough pants that hang around mid butt. does that mean i need to stock accordingly. Or lets say I have too many Penny loafers...does this mean I'm not matching my inventory with my diverse customers correctly?
This Diversity concerns seems all too crazy and something thats almost impossible to manage.

I don't think you understand eBay's diversity initiative ... or you are making a joke about it. I'll go with the joke option, because I'm pretty sure you aren't that clueless.

That's not what eBay diversity says if you took time to read it, basically they want to attract more sellers that know what a minority section of the population wants, I looked through your listings and it looks like its a geared towards a particular section of the population and they want to encourage that, but those prices seem too high, no was I'm paying over $100 for new balance shoes

I took that survey, and now I am wondering...
Where does eBay think collectors of antiques and traditional vintage collectibles fit in their diversity markeplace?
Collectors are my target market. In my 38 years of selling to that market my customers have seemed to be a widely diverse group.
But does eBay see it that way? I'd hope so, but what with eBay you never know. If eBay decides to limit my search visibilty based some "diversity profile" (either mine of the potential buyer's), I think my business will be in trouble.

I can tell you with 100% total honesty that I have never once considered the seller's sex, race, age, sexual orientation, etc.
I do not read profiles, and the only photos that interest me are ones showing the product at all angles, hopefully, so I can see what I am buying.

You're really grabbing at straws with this one. ....

I like your Men's Margaritaville Dock Canvas Boat Shoes, size 12, khaki, that you list at $109.82.
So I bought them, after seeking a a diversity of pricing possibilities, from another source, for $60 w/free shipping. In fact all sources I looked at were $35-$50 less than yours. Do you think that might have something to do with making all of your sales disappear? I was afraid to look at your other listings.

He's just going through the grieving process.
eBay has recently targeted dropshippers and/or dropshipping listings, and such listings are now getting difficult to find in search. eBay has decided that they don't want their customers to receive boxes from competitors such as Amazon, Home Depot, DSW, Walmart, etc.
