I've been off ebay for over a year or so. I'm finding tons of scammers, sellers with no feedback, no sales but sold listings worth lots of money!
I discovered this easily while looking at sales results.
Is ebay doing anything to stop this? I can't find a place on the app to file a complaint or report a fraudulent seller.
Any help or comments are appreciated. Ty

A lot on new sellers sign up to sell one item and some usually end up getting scammed from buyers.

Sellers with no feedback: Not a violation.
Sold listing worth lots of money: Not a violation.
Is ebay doing anything about this? No.
If you are a buyer who had or is having a problem with a seller,
there are lots of ways to report the seller.
Please explain your situation and we will be happy to help you.

Just how are you going to report a fraudulent seller? For what exactly? Because you think they are? Be more specific.

Help me understand. How can someone have "no sales but sold listiings..."?
I'm not sure what you're seeing that is bothering you.
If you mean that you see items with crazy-high "sold" prices, I can tell you that many of them are not paid for. Sometimes people with similar items to sell will bid up or make high offers to get that "sold" price showing, because eBay shows "sold" but not "sold and paid" in searches. It is to give the illusion that the "X" is something super valuable, but there's no intention of paying. It's just a ploy to try to inflate the price for their own, later benefit and the current seller is the victim. (This is nothing new, by the way. It's a practice old as the hills in the antiques and art markets.)
If that's not what you're talking about, tell us what you are.

I just sell a few things here and there, but have had an eBay account for years. I didn't sell anything for a couple years since Covid had started. My account reverted to no recent sales and 0% feedback (although it still showed a feedback score of 64 or so).

You haven't sold anything for a couple of years and your account shows no recent sales???
Your account has 0 feedback but shows a score of 64 or so???
I am confused.

The one thing we do know is that if I see anything that I do not instantly and fully understand, it is a SCAM!!!!!

Have you noticed that most of us do not understand the point you are trying to make?
Especially baffling is "no sales, but sold listings worth lots of money".
Care to return and offer better details?

LOL, so true, the number one overused word on Ebay, the second one is 'illegal'.

Third one is law suite! OK, that's two words.
