Sorry to hear that. Is there anything in particular that is happening that you would like to ask about?

More than one scammer.... what do you sell? I assume the scammers are buyers, not sellers. Some categories are known scammer havens...
This posting ID is a buying account.

You can see the OP's sold listings ... a lot of glass. My guess is that the buyers are receiving broken glass, and the OP thinks that they are being scammed.
If so, that's not scamming, but rather the reality of shipping glass these days. Packages are handled by machines rather than humans, and they can get subjected to some pretty severe G-forces.

I went by the feedback being private. I didn't check the sold items history. I guess they must have gotten some negative feedback and decided to make this a buying account... to hide the negatives.
I don't think glass is a high scammer category. May just be this seller needed to package their items better or use a different shipping service. Or the scammers they are referring to aren't associated with this account.

The OP's feedback on this account is at 100%. Look at their feedback chart . . . no negatives in the most recent 12-month period so, if the OP did indeed receive negative feedback somewhere along the line, it was over a year ago.
And the OP made a sale on this account as recently as June 11, 2019.

Maybe because they switched this from a selling account to a buying account....????
Facts: You can't receive negatives as a buyer. Only buying accounts can have private feedback.
Does that mean Ebay will remove any negatives if you make your account a buying account with private feedback?
Otherwise how do you explain the selling history with private feedback?

I think eBay just blocks you from listing while your feedback is private, and blocks you from making feedback private while you have active listings. Even eBay woudn't be dumb enough to erase nagatives just by toggling the privacy.

He may also be referring to being scammed by sellers, it does happen and far more often than we would care to admit. Just too hard to say, weren't exactly given any details.

I'm not sure what you mean: you don't "switch" from a selling account to a buying account. You can buy and sell on the same account.
Yes, I know buyers can receive only positive feedback. But, again, I think you've misunderstood "buying accounts" in regard to private feedback. I can sell, sell, sell on an account, but if I choose to switch to private feedback, I can no longer sell on that account--that doesn't mean it's been "switched" to a "buying account." And no, eBay will not remove negative comments when a member makes feedback private.
Many members utilize separate accounts for buying, selling and/or posting. Some sellers utilize separate accounts for selling different types of items or different price ranges of items, etc., to organize their own business in a way that is most efficient for them; however, they could still buy (or post) with any one of those accounts. There is no "official" eBay recognition of "buying" and "selling" or "posting" accounts. None of the accounts are treated differently by eBay.
Only the OP can explain why s/he switched the account to private feedback. Perhaps in anticipation of future negative feedback from the scammers who are eating him/her alive? Perhaps s/he didn't realize that switching to private feedback prohibits further selling on the account? Who knows.

Would you like to add any facts/details to the discussion? If not, all we can do is guess and guess we will.

Ebay does treat private feedback accounts differently.... you can't sell from them and your feedback is private. Since they can't be sold from, I refer to private feedback accounts as "buying accounts". Sorry if that confused you. Hopefully, the OP will come back and provide more details... Specifically, it will be interesting to know why they switched to private feedback.
