Beware all sellers. EBay can suspend your account at any time and not have to give an explanation. I made my first successful sale and they suspended my account so I could not enter my bank info and get paid. I talked to six reps about it and they could not tell that the account was suspended so we wasted hours of time opening new checking accounts to try and get it to work.
When a manager connected me to an accounts person, they told me that I was suspended and that according to the Ebay contract, did not have to tell me why! I tried twice with accounts and was treated rudely both times.
Now, it has been two months, I have not been paid for what I sold (over $1k) and have no idea if or when I will get paid. Probably have to go to small claims court.
This looks like a scam to hold onto money for making interest.

Yes, they had everything but my account info. When the item I sold, I tried to enter account information and it failed every time.

There was little difference between my photo and the stock one so I do not get your point. Why did six EBay reps fail to anable me to get my bank details in?

Why. The bank details enable me to get paid after a sale. I would think having the buyer pay first would be most important.

So what did the full original message from eBay say? Think there are details being left out, that we cannot see. The "We's" here are other buyers and sellers so cannot see that information.

Honestly you have to wonder what's going on there. I saw an advertisement on my Ebay app which I seldom use that read "It's easy as 1,2,3" (corny advertising...eyeroll) No where did it say to provide a payment method to be paid. It's the same on some of the other sites too.

@zau099 eBay’s policy states that for pre-owned items, the seller must use actual photos, not stock images.
It is crucial to learn the rules here prior to listing. Multiple violations can easily get an account suspended, as you can see. You were not suspended for no reason.

Once an account is suspended, all funds are immediately frozen and not available to the seller. See the policy below.

Suppose you explain to me how one collects for a sale when EBay made it impossible to connect a bank account to my EBay account? I opened three checking accounts! The sale was clean and flawless. EBay has not given me a way to collect what is owed to me.

Keeping my money after a clean sale is not protecting me.

But did you provide them with your SSN etc?

Your hostile replies are getting you no where here on this forum. Most here have been sellers for many years and are still active sellers. My guess is perhaps Ebay didn't accept your bank account due to misinformation or that's a bank they don't work with.
Good luck in the future.

@zau099 ,
Where did you open your bank accounts? Were they at a credit union? Local community bank? Not all credit unions and local community banks are online with the Federal Reserve bank which eBay uses to process ACH deposits. I would suggest Wells Fargo or US bank since you are in California. I know both of those banks work as that is where my Ebay deposits go.

You are in a pickle.
In order to get paid, sellers must go thru a verification process. This is why you needed to register your selling account prior to the sale. But since you were suspended, they cannot pay you. So you must now follow eBay’s instructions from the email they sent announcing your suspension, see policy below for more info and next steps.
You may be wasting your time with the phone reps. Instead, reach out to eBay’s Facebook for Business page for someone with some authority to help.
I wish eBay would not allow a seller to list before their account is set up properly.
