many buyers are entering eBay to scam, they offer you an item and ask you to get in touch and then they ask you if you can send them a gift card along with the item to which they make the offer and they send you a fake email PayPal and there they steal your money

And not one of these scammers live in USA, all overseas working out of net cafes with VOIP numbers. Even call display can be faked these days.

If I were an American scammer, I would want it to appear that I was overseas.
