My customers tend to be male collectors, too.
They have a "fun" allowance.
And in December, or even in November, they spend their allowance on gifts for others.
Nor are my listings particularly giftable.
When we had a B&M shop, December was mostly gift certificates, albums, kiddies starter kits, and some expensive items like sigmascopes, or hingeless albums.
We did inventory in December to keep the staff busy.
Then on Boxing Day , the hobbyists came flooding back.
