Good Morning, does anybody else find this a bit strange. The last 4 months our sales have been good, until the last 5 days of the month, then nothing, no sales, views almost non existent, this month I called and asked to refresh my account, I was told a note had been sent to IT to refresh, next day still no improvement. I filled out the survey they ask to be filled out, on the survey I stated that my problem had not been resolved. I called again the second day of no sales, asking to be refreshed again, again I was told they would send the request to IT. After posting on here(which is gone now), I had enough sales to pay my month ending bill, all in one day, now 2 days later, still lack of views and no sales. Could it be ebay or agents are nolding my account hostage? I've been with ebay since 1998, and I know this sounds highly unlikely, but it has happened 4 months in a row now. Have a great day and answers or opinions greatly appreciated.

There is no magic refresh button and nothing was sent to IT.
They just told you that to make you feel better and get you off the phone.

I made changes such as putting in my new listings in the titles..."Free Shipping".
I already had free domestic shipping but somehow this I think it helped out.
I try to keep my prices under other sellers prices of identical items even if it's by one dollar.
And I have not used any promoting on this except with duplicates of the same item.
And listing items every day also helps.
I also give feedback usually first...and when buyer gives me feedback and give another reply feedback 'Thank you for your purchase(s).'...trying to snag 'repeat buyers'.
Cheapo items for sale always get the best feedbacks from buyers...so I try to add cheap items for sale.
Because I don't always do tracking...ALL my feedbacks are real and not auto artificial intelligence.

It is not surprising that some buyers run out of money to spend shortly before the end of the month.
I have buyers for certain types of item who are of similar economic status and stop buying at similar times.
I have other buyers who stop buying from me when major finds or estate liquidations are creating issues in the market.
As the news turned to the impending government shutdown, my sales tanked. Three days into it, the panic has been reduced and my sales have started to recover.
People are affected by life and the world outside Ebay. I am not bright enough to know all of the distractions which happen at any time, but I sure can see that there are some.

@mksports03
Do you do offsite promotions?

Can you explain how this would work? What ransom would they hold your account hostage for?
