No matter how hard you work, Why do sales decrease on some days?

I think the successful sellers from SR are not here asking for help

they might be too busy selling and don`t need to come here and ask questions.

there is always someone local you can try to emulate.

some sellers are prepared and make it looks easy but I dont think they are rookies

I think they have some sort of algorithm set up. I use to sell many different things and some days I would get lots of orders and others I would even get views. Now it seems like they are trying to do to much .

Howdy,

I was seeing the same issue as you stated in other posts. I did contact ebay about it, who claimed they would look into it. I also went through all of my listings and updated them. I re-selected the category on all of them . ( they were all correct to start with. ) Within half a day the sales started to appear. I was also able to see my listings again on ebay and sites like Google. Was this a fluke, my updates, or did ebay fix the issue? I do believe as many others do that there was / is some sort of search issue. Thought I would share my experience.

Trying to figure that out is like trying to figure out why the stock market goes up and down every day other than Saturday, Sunday and holidays. It's just the nature of business and the marketplace.

Asking others to purchase you items, even as a joke is not what the community is for and it actually is a breach of the rules. I know you meant no harm. I'm telling you this in the hopes of keeping you out of trouble.

But I don't want to buy your items. Nor do very many, if any, people here. Everything you have listed is the stuff that arrives on these shores by the container-load, daily, for sale in local dollar and discount stores. If I wanted it, I could pick it up for less than you can sell it for, and I'd have it the same day.

That's harsh, but you asked me to buy it, so I'm telling you straight out why I wouldn't, and why most people won't.

As for variation in traffic and sales, that is normal. It is normal in brick-and-mortar stores, and it is normal in on-line venues.
