Here we go again, sales should be picking up for us, but no, almost nil, unless otherwise agreed to, but not only that, very few views, and this has been going on for the last 3 months,. We have called ebay 5 times in that period, and left messages each time for IT to look into it. They seemed to have fixed the problem(we were told on our 2nd phome call that we had a bug, and it was fixed), this was true, sales picked up again, for a week or so, then the same problem, so another call, was told they would contact IT, again, sales picked up, then the same thing and this has been going on ever since. I agree that ebay rotates us, simply because after having watched for years, we noticed a definate pattern, for 4-6 days we can only sell after midnight, then they switch us to daytime hours, then afternoon sales, and we are seeing the same for International sales. We would love a answer, but of course that isn't going to happen, is it server problems, google problems, Donhoe problems, problems with lower volume sellers competing and hurting the larger volume sellers? I wish they would level the playing field a little, we cannot sustain many more long periods of time with little or no sales. And what do we get in our inbox? an ivitation to step up to an Anchor store, probably not going to happen at this time, ha, ha. Good luck everybody, telephone time with another ebay rep.

So how exactly do you think eBay accomplishes this?
Do you think your items cannot be found in search during those hours? That should be very easy to check.
Do you think that eBay prevents buyers from clicking the "Buy It Now" button? That should be very easy to check.
Or do you think eBay has some other mechanism for preventing buyes from purchasing your items?

ebay rotates us,
Of course they do........do you expect to be on the same page every day at the same hour? That would be fine (with you) if it were the first page, I'm sure........but what about all the sellers on the the last page? don't they deserve a chance at the first page?
By definition, newly listed and ending soonest......rotate according to time........your items will be upfront 1x in their 30 day (whatever) cycle.....when listed or when ending.

I love the theories that go on around here. Yes, best match changes for each buyer searching but your items are NOT hidden. Don't fall into the trap, it will make you ill and if it gets too bad even a possible heart attack. Does it really matter if it is noon, midnight or any other itme of day. Ebay could care less how big or small you are, when a buyer chooses to purchase your items they will.

Really, a theory, we have been a member for 19 years now, and we have tracked our sales the last few years, and we find that there is a definate sales pattern, 3-4 days we only sell after midnight, the next few days only in the morning, and so on. Yes it could just be coincidence, but highly unlikely. And if you read the post, we were and still are having something IT supposedly fixes, then it comes back every other week. And tell me you don't beleive the nonsense that ebay could care less about how (big or small) you are, do you really think high volume dealers don't get advantages, think again. Thanks for your post, but not buying it, and we will try not to have a heart attack.

Heart attacks stink. Definitely try not to have one. Same here.
