Sales down by 60% this weekend

I've been selling here for over ten years. In the last year, I have consistently made 40 to 70 sales over the weekend.  My sales are down 60% this weekend. It's the worst weekend I've had in 8 years! Nothing has changed in my feedback, seller standing, policy violations, etc. Is anyone else experiencing a drastic drop in sales this weekend?

I’ve been selling for over 20 years. This is the worst 2 months. My items are priced low & I continue to list everyday. Seems like a joke to keep listing, with no bids or buyers.

Yea, Most of my promotion recommendations from eBay are 12.5%. I'll do mostly around 6%. I should do an experiment and place them all at zero for one week and see what it does for sales.

I don't know where you got your numbers. I have had 1211 orders in the last 90 days. I put my store on vacation status for 10 days during that time as well. I do have another account here, an Amazon account and a Gunbroker account.

Tagging on:

March was down about 18% from February

April (so far)  is down about 29% from March

That's on all 3 accounts.    Stamps,  Books,   LPs,   Paper items,  Every category is down for me.    

For me the trend has been downward since November.     I'm now back to 2017 levels and at that time 

ebay was a part-time,  make a little money deal for me.    

Whatever the reason,   Some sellers are hurting.     

eBAy has been spending $$$ on TV ads.   That adds up to some serious dollars.    Maybe spread some of that 

money around and promote something other than auto parts and ebay motors.

I've had sales of 20 items in a weekend and I have had sales of 2 items in a weekend. Nothing wrong with any of that so please do nor blame Ebay if no one wanted your stuff for a weekend.

@inhawaii   I only went back seven pages for Slow Sales. I've joked in the past that the first complaints were October 1995.  Did you look for the earliest date?

UPDATE:  Now I have 198 listings with 0 - 1 Views in the last 30 days ... I wonder if that affects sales???  Its only 44.8% of my listings ...

over the past decade I have found easter and passover put a dent in sales. right now, it is particularly slow.

12 days ago my daily sales dropped by 70% and have never recovered.  Impressions and page views are also down by 70%.  I’ve been selling since 2014.

I am doing my best to stay hopeful that the issue is resolved.  I am on hold with customer service again today.  I have been transferred many times, one of the customer service agents was clearly on a farm somewhere (roosters crowing in the background), another agent told me to speak to his brother for a little bit (there were kids screaming in the background).  I don't know where to turn at this point.  It is downright scary.  I have had one sale in the past 18 hours.  I generally sell between 25-30 items per day.  Only the past 12 days have been this way.
