Anyone else currently experience a sudden sales drop off?? I was selling 5 to 7 items a day with only 50 to 60 listings and now I’m selling zero with 130 listings. Did eBay change their algorithm? What is going on? Why are sales coming to a halt?? Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

As much as people try to help you it's not about emoji's in your listings or whatever. It is a purge from Ebay to people like you and me to get us off the platform. It's not an accident you were getting 5 to 6 sales per day and nothing now. Same things happened to me and I don't have anything wrong with my listings, have called Ebay numerous times, and get the same old **bleep** that nothing is wrong, when definitely they've changed algorithims, etc. so my listings are not appearing on pertinent sites, etc. They took out our RSS feeds a few months ago. I went from bad to worse. Haven't had a sale in 7 days. Nothing like this EVER happened to me before. As soon as I procure full time employment, I'm out of here or before.

Things went south for me when I lost 200 or so photos, i thought it was an ebay glitch but now i know those products that the photos were attached to became part of the ebay catalogue. I replaced all the missing images and thought all was good.
My sales dropped that day the photos went missing or very shortly after that around the second week of June.
June, July August and September I am down 30% revenue, dont need to look at the hub to tell me the downward slide, just my bank statements!
I have $4,000 worth of brand new inventory waiting to be listed and usually i get it up straight away but its been sitting for nearly a month untouched as i'm not sure I will list it here or my other venue.
I HAVE noticed i am selling more incidental items like buttons, beads and thread on this ID as they have UPC numbers, not my main items which are fabric from bolts but thats probably because they rarely come with an UPC.
Not sure whats different but my guess and it is only just a guess is it has something to do with the product based catalogue they just rolled out

Something is very wrong this month. I agree with sales dropping. ebay is making too many changes at once. My sales are down 50% in my main store and almost 90% in my other THREE stores. Barely any questions too.
Where did the buyers all go? Amazon?

I am thinking about moving my inventory too! My sales have been sliding downward all year too. You are not the only one!

Don't feel alone. Since the 17th or when eBay rolled out the catalog I have had one $2.89 sale. This is 10 days and only one small sale. I have been on the phone with CS and an account specialist this past week and you get the same answer all the time "everything is working and I don't see any issues". If it is working fine then why are there no sales? I have done everything possible to see if any of that would help and nothing has. I have lowered some prices, changed keywords and even changed titles. Nothing is working.
A few days ago I was doing a listing and it showed me many items similar in the catalog but I chose to continue listing with using the catalog. When I entered the UPC it automatically entered all of the information from one of the items in the catalog that was all wrong. The only way I could do the listing with the correct info was to take out the UPC and then enter the correct info into the listing. I called about that and got no answer except I will send a ticket to the "Tech Team". They might as well send them a speeding ticket as that will not help anything or get it corrected.
Yesterday when I talked with CS I told them that if things don't improve within 30 days I am out of here. His response was give it a few more days and if it doesn't pick up give us a call back and we can see if there is something actually wrong. Geeze, didn't I call you to find out if there was something wrong.
eBay fix your screwed up site and get rid of the glitches that continuously appear. You are driving sellers and buyers away with all of this nonsense.

It's the same throttling they're doing to everyone else who isn't getting sales. I think it has to do with the fact that vintage stuff does not fit into their new catalog **bleep**, but instead of manning up and just telling us we aren't welcome, they go the passive aggressive route. Personally, I'm down over 90% from a year and a half ago, and I just downgraded my store to Basic, canceled all but 100 of my listings, and started migrating to other sites. I'm out.

You are not alone. I am down 40% this month and have made 3 sales in 3 days for a total of 36.00. Before the rollout of the new search algorythm my sales each day were $200 after i have just had a slow decline. I promote 1000 listings and my listing impressions go further down into the negative( not what promoted should be doing) everyday. Ive called ebay CS weekly with the many technical issues we are having but each cs rep says nothing is wrong with our account. Seller Hub rarely shows correct info with some sales not showing up for hours after it was purchased. Ghost offers that arent there. Cant send messages to other ebay buyers / sellers. Items in store go missing. Store goes missing. Listing items aand within 5 minutes they are pushed to the last page.

Based on several measures of economic health, the U.S. economy is booming. Unemployment is at a near two-decade low, U.S. GDP has grown without interruption for one of the longest periods in American history, and the median household income is $7,500 higher than it was six years ago.
While certain measures of the economy as a whole indicate healthy growth, a closer look reveals a picture of growing income inequality and a shrinking middle class. Over the last 10 years, the median income of the wealthiest fifth of U.S. households increased at 1.5 times the income growth rate of the middle fifth of households and 2.7 times the rate of increase for the bottom fifth of households.
Partially as a result, income earned by the upper quintile of households increased from 50.3% of all U.S. income in 2007 to 51.6% in 2016. Over the same period, the earnings of middle-class households fell from 14.7% of all income to 14.3%. In some states, the disparities in income growth among the classes have been far greater, and the declines in the share of middle-class income much larger. To determine the states where the middle class is disappearing, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed the decline in the share of aggregate household income earned by the middle quintile of households in all 50 states from 2007 to 2016 with data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. There are 10 states with a decline of 0.54 percentage points or greater.

Are you trying to tell us that Ebay is driving this economic disparity or are you just **bleep**ing?

I have the same issue but with fixed price listings! I had a steady business, it had dropped off over the years but steady! since mid september, Ive had two sales???? Im not selling CHANEL .... I expect at least 20 sales + per week for the work I put in! I get 0-1 view when I list! I tweet to get more views but where is ebays advertising? it used to be great with Google! Feels like I'm peddling a bike bnackwards...

China products are all over ebay! they use many accounts and just looking for something makes you crazy! sift through bogus stuff! its gives one price and when you check the item out, you get anotehr price with a months worth of ship time! I thought ebay would get this sorted...
