I haven't had a sale in days, and my "Send Offer to Buyers" hasnt changed in days. I thought I got through the whole Category/Item Specifics change, as all my auctions seem set up right. Anyone else having issues? My income is plummeting!

I inadvertently stumbled on something today. I was at work, trying to point out an ad on one of my other accounts to a coworker and even though I typed in the name, model and brand of the item listed, it wouldn't find it in the search?
I had to nearly type in the full title for it to show up in the search?
Spelling and spacing was all fine. It showed me 30 other items, even some not even similar items but not the item I was after. The only way I was able to find all of that accounts items was to find one item, the click on 'seller's other items'. More than half were not showing in the search if I typed in only the item or model number.
I found the same thing trying to find items listed under the work accounts on my personal computer, it was as if they weren't there. I typed in the brand, model, and item name and only got items from other sellers, not the one I was looking for. A few items did show in the 'similar' items bar at the bottom of the page, even though those item titles contained the very search words I typed into the search box.

Thank you for your imput. My sales are less than half of what they were last year and I have 4 times more items listed at ridiculous low prices. I too, have gone through the changing catagories, new photos, etc and nothing helps. I am currently listing on 3 other sites and making more sales and profit than I am on
Ebay.
I've read that Ebays' income is way up but sales by its' sellers are way down. That tells me that Ebay is increasing our fees to profit themselves without any consideration for us.
Because of this I don't have any loyalty to Ebay, my business must survive with or without them.

I am finding the new ebay set up for selling to be very confusing. So much so that I have to limit posting because it has become so cumbersome.

Used to make ok sales with ebay; however, the last 8 months (July 2021 to Feb 2022) were rediculous - beyond bad, from thousands in sales year after year to $260.00 in 8 months all with the same items and listings. Either eBay is scamming their sellers promising a vital p!atform; but, blocking their sales; yet, taking their customers money, or the platform is now WORTHLESS! Their verbiage to "comply" with them echoes a dystopian manipulated business with no real quality or value. A business unable to provide the service they represent. Their algorithms are worthless to small businesses. We will be leaving ebay after 12 years due to the ebay company going down the toilet in real sales - echoing the problem with their now worthless manipulated platform. A platform echoing a scam. Taking the clients money while providing no sales ( almost a shadow ban service) as low as a sales platform can get.

you want to boost sales? lower your prices. we both know you didnt pay the amount of money you are charging to buy for your item(s). dont be greedy. calculate the amount you are able to lose and still make some money vs making no money. if the items you sell are things that people can get at a brick and mortar store then you have no leg to stand on. They could just get it there for cheaper.
Run some sales. make it impossible for the buyers to walk away from what you have to offer. but people are wise if you hike the price up and make it 'seem' like they are getting a good deal. they can spot that a mile away especially if they calculate the shipping cost and the sales tax they have to pay. gas and groceries are going up, people are being more careful with their money. make them need your stuff. lower the price.

Some of us DID pay more, a lot more, for the things we sell out of our closets. I sell everything at a loss which gets larger all the time.

Hope you find a way to make more sales. eBay has been absolutely horrid this month. 8 sales since Mar. 5. Mar. 4, I had 5 in 1 day! lol I'm relying on the flea market & FB. Sunday was a record day for me at the market! 1 guy bought about 98% of the sports cards I had left. 7 shopping carts full. 🙂 I took in 9-10 carts-worth over the last few weeks. Sold them all. Going to try my best with local sales. No fees except rent. Enough with eBay & the ridiculous postal system.

We started selling in 2018 and ever since May 2021 our sales were going up and up, to the top point of +$7,000 revenue a month. After a June 2021 our sale is going down and down, also I've noticed that at that time we had around 1,000,000 impressions. Now our sales drop down to shy above $2,000 a month and our impressions also drop down to 330,000 approx.
I've called ebay and asked if we were punished for something but just vague answers that nothing is wrong with our account. We are top rated sellers, we both were full time ebay sellers now my wife took full time job to cover health care.
I also don't know what to do and what is going on. Tried everything, change titles, improved pictures, list new items...
Now heard that I should list 10+ items a day for 10 days that might trigger something... so I am trying to do that even not much confident in that, but don't need to buy new items so nothing else I can do.

What other sites are you listing on. I have been on eBay for over 25 years and if I don't do something soon I might have to close shop. Thanks....

Here is the issue with no sales and eBay knows it. This is also why the impressions are down. I have been working with eBay tech department on this issue. The following is what I said about low sales two weeks ago:
Here is a real situation with having low sales. The eBay tech team is working on this with my account. We have 4200 listing up of which we are finding that Buyer's cannot search. This is a system wide problem and yes you are not hearing anything from eBay about it. We should be doing $1500 to $2500 a day on the site. We are now down to $350 to $1500. CS has confirmed this issue. If I go to the seller hub and check my active listings all of the listings will come up to view by looking for a keyword or part number of model number. If I search in the eBay search bar like a Buyer would 20-30% of my listing will not come up. We tried ending the listing and relist, did not make a difference. We have checked our competitors selling the same issue at higher, lower and the same price . Their listings come up mine do not. We revised our title to match that of a competitor, again the competitors listing came up and ours would not. Just today an item we have listed for $499.99 and one for $749.99 would not come up. Both of those items were priced under market and cannot be found by Buyers.
Two weeks ago the eBay tech dept. told the CS rep that is working my account on this matter that all the Buyer has to do is search the listing ID # and our listing will come to view and that is true. It is clear that the tech dept has no clue how the site works. The Buyer cannot obtain the listing ID unless they are viewing the listing ie by first searching the keywords in the title. The same tech said if the Buyer searches the exact and total title of the listing our listing will come up and that is true. Their send off is that the system is working as designed and we should not be concerned. Anyone please tell me how can a Buyer search for an item and type in the exact title we wrote. Just not possible. We are thankful that several years ago we began the moving our business off eBay. We currently sell 20% of our business on eBay if we sold 100% we would be going broke. THIS IS A SYSTEM WIDE PROBLEM. The eBay search bar function is not working properly and need repair now.
PEOPLE, CHECK YOUR LISTINGS IN THE EBAY SEARCH BAR BY USING A KEYWORD OR A FEW KEYWORDS OR PART NUMBER OR MODEL NUMBER. You might find your are having this same system wide issue. Your low sales may very well be not your pricing or how good of an item you are selling. It could be eBay that has so much focus on fees has forgotten to repair the site so people can sell.

It just got worse for the accounts we still have running. All of a sudden sales started ending without warning last week. I had a few items last week sell which was auction format with a BIN that ended early for the minimum bid. I chocked it up to me possibly miss reading the end date. I went back and double checked every item and none were due to end till later today. Then I started getting emails saying 8 items had ended and needed to be relisted. Including one I just put up on Wed. with an 8 wk auto relist. Plus another item, scheduled to go off in two days, which had one min. bid and a BIN on it ended early with only one bid again.
I know I listed that item on Mon for a 7 day auction, and it was one I had just checked the end date on and it said 2 days/6hrs to go.
What I'm finding is that items seem to be searchable only when they first go live, maybe in the first few hours, then they disappear to the search engine. If I put an item up now, it doesn't show for about an hour, then it'll show up in the search engine if I set it to most recent items for about 5 or so hours, after that the only way to find it on a different computer without either using the exact title is to enter the item number.
I've even sat and scrolled through the whole category to find an item I know it there and active and its not shown on my personal computer simply by scrolling down the list or searching the item name or even a key word. Only the item number gets me there. Often, even after I enter the item number, if I scroll up or down to the other items shown below, my item will be gone from the list as I scroll back up to it. Forcing me to re-enter the item number to open the ad.

We can't recommend sites per forum rules, but that question can be answered with a couple of seconds of search on google, Bing, etc.

Same here, no sales in days. My friend has items posted on several sites and no sales. What is going on?
