I just got a remorse return from a buyer who said in the comments "Bought for a boy who dumped me."

Remorse indeed. What are some of the saddest or weirdest return reasons that buyers have given you?

That's one of the most "legitimate" remorse return reasons i've ever heard. LOL

I am working on a return today that is sort of weird. Buyer bought 3 ball lock pins of 2 different sizes. Then requested order cancellation. So I lost a bit of money there with PP fees. Then he ordered 2 ball lock pins of one size. They were delivered and he filed a return for one of them stating INAD. Was an auto accepted return by Ebay. He sent pictures and texted me photos of the pin he wants. It is a 3/4 in diameter pin. The pin he is returning is a 3/16 diameter pin. He should have filed "wrong size".

So now I will have to pay for his return shipping. I have had similar returns in the last few months where I have had to eat the shipping. I have resisted deducting shipping on refunds but I may start fighting some of these returns.

I just saw this on another thread: "I specifically said to ring doorbell not put them by mailbox as it states and I would like my item shipped to my door not mailbox."

I wouldn't call it sad or weird, but I had a cancelation yesterday from a buyer who admitted he didn't read the description until after making the purchase...I guess this falls more under the "what a clown" category...
