SO I POSTED A WELDER FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY THE BUYER THEN SAYS HES PAID BUIT I HAVE A HOLD AND ASKS ME TO FREIGHT THE ITEM FAR AWay and he will pay the cost . i definately cant freight the item its heave and should he read the add closer because it clearly say s local pick up only

how can i tell if he paid

Ebay will inform you once the buyer has paid. Has ebay sent you a notification that the item has been paid?

The buyer is requesting something outside of your listing. You may be able to cancel because of this. Hopefully other skilled sellers will chime in with their input.

If the item has actually been sold, cancel the sale with the excuse that "there is a problem with the buyer's address."

Sounds as if your "buyer" is trying to pull a fast one on you!

That listing is still viewable with shipping costs of $14+. Also you have an entire old car with another engine for shipping costs of $5+.

Did buyer actually pay thru ebay?

Cancel the sell and block the buyer. Do not correspond anymore with the fool.

Actually that one is an Husky Air compressor with an incorrect title (Lincoln Welde)........but does show a shipping cost.....which I'm sure is incorrect........

There is a listing for a Miller Welders that was sold today and is local pick up only.

If it is for the Miller Welder you can cancel using problem with buyers address since you did not specify that you would send the item.

You have a current listing for a 'Lincoln Welde'. Should that say Welde or Welder? I don't know anything about tools but is the brand of that item a Husky or Lincoln? Your picture shows Husky and your description also states Husky.

@delke1073It's probably a scammer. ebay used to require that new sellers (or sellers who haven't sold in a while) had a limit of $500 and had to get 10 feedbacks before they could list higher $ amounts or quantities. Cancel the order with There's a Problem with the Buyer's Address. message the buyer that you have to cancel, and that the item can only be picked up locally, not shipped. You can also add them to your Blocked Buyer List. They will still be able to contact you regarding this transaction, but will not be able to purchase other items from you.

I saw the Miller Welder as Sold, local pickup only. On your seller hub, go to Payments, then All transactions, and your sale should show there. Good Luck!

You have a vehicle listed, in the wrong category, starting price is a full 99 cents and shipping to California is about $5.
How are you going to ship a station wagon through USPS?

Stating that the buyer must bring a trailer is moot.

We are not allowed to put our phone number or contact information in the listing.

Whoa... I had not checked the OP's listings until after reading responses. You offered your buy to pay and have it shipped. Change your listings NOW, remove ship cost and make it local pickup only. I can buy your Welder for $14.70 shipping. I can buy your Ford Falcon for $5.30 shipping. You are offering me a very good deal.

@spark-chaser1 No the buyer is not. The OP is offering to ship it if your read the listing. There is nothing to report except maybe the buyer reporting the OP for not shipping the item like the listing says.

Go ahead and cancel the sale with problem with buyer's address. You wrote LOCAL PICKUP. Even if you by mistake left the shipping available, tell the buyer that you can NOT ship this item. It must be local pickup. You do NOT want the responsibility of a shipper damaging the item. Block the buyer so that they do not re-buy. Once , you relist, make sure that you write down that it's local pickup only. Remove anything that says that you will ship.
