ARE THERE ANY TYPES OF CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION  FOR DIFFERENT SELLER LEVELS? I REMEMBER A FEW YEARS BACK MY DAUGHTER HAD SOME BUT SHE CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO GET THEM

Re: SELLING

I think they did away with them.   Be sure to encourage your daughter as much as possible and tell her you love her every day.

Re: SELLING

All you get now is the colored star next to your name. The color changes as you move up in feedback.

I remember the things ebay used to send sellers. My mom was so excited when she hit Power Seller. She framed it and put it on the shelf in her office where she listed on the computer. Back then it meant more than it does now unfortunately since I think they did away with Power Seller.

I remember getting the certificates. Then it stopped.

Ebay should not make or break your daughters self esteem. Ebay has changed so much. There aren't levels to accomplish here except tax levels. That depresses everyone LOL.

@vinylcards

Unfortunately, there is really not much from e-Bay these days in the way of recognition, minus maybe doing the Seller School classes, but those are really not much to get excited about.

Everything now is focused on the Seller Hub, your metrics, etc.

You can work towards Top Rated Seller (TRS) and it does have some protections and benefits.  Read more about it here:

Re: SELLING

Here's a link to the star certificates which you can print. You can change the appropriate color in the URL.

Here's a link for the power seller cert, whatever power seller is these days. You've survived the pandemic, that's good enough...

Re: SELLING

eBay doesn't offer any type of recognition certificates.    There are seller levels which are based on the number of sales.  Top Rated Sellers are those individuals that sell at least 100 items and $1000 in sales within a 12 month period.

As for your daughter's self esteem issues  perhaps spending some time with a qualified therapist would prove to be more beneficial than a Temporary  boost from some performance certificate.  All I'm saying is that depression is a factor that needs to be considered.

Re: SELLING

The best ebay award is the weekly payout "certificate" I receive on Tuesdays.  My first and only PS Cert is memorialized at the top of my store page.  Not sure of the year but most likely 2013.  The PS should stand for persistent seller these days with the letters changed to PL.  Persistent Lister I am.

Re: SELLING

OP - sorry for the font hijack.  My apologies.

@7606dennis

I have no idea how to change the font when I post - mine is evidently set at whatever the forum considers "default".

Changing it every time before I posted (at least for me) would just be a lot of work.  I will keep posting on here with the default and you can post with whatever makes you happiest.  Sorry, I mentioned it at all.  It just seemed ironic as you were telling the OP they were yelling and their font was much smaller than yours in your post.

No harm meant.  I promise.

(back to the OP's need for her Daughter)

No problem!  Just for your enlightenment, if you go to reply and the menu bar at the top of the reply screen you can change the type size by going to the third symbol from the left.  1st is Bold, 2nd is Italic, 3rd is Type Size and the 4th is Type Color.

Re: SELLING

OP!  How old is you daughter with the low self-esteem issues?  I know that my granddaughter found great fulfilment from her art and later won several prestigious awards.  While her best friend tried her hand at acting and is doing quite well at it.

That has nothing to do with this subject.  Ebay stopped the certificates years ago.

She should be at least 18 as that is the minimum age for sellers on Ebay.
