SALES HAVE COLLAPSED (DUE TO ELECTION?)

I have always noticed a sharp decline in sales just before presidential elections, but this time it is catastrophic......I'm getting no sales at all.  Are other sellers having the same experience?

A lot of factors go into why sales are slumping, We had two major Hurricanes and wild fires as well as an election that has had everyone one edge.  The economy as a whole is still on the weak side, despite what the government says we are in a recession. People will pay for the necessities before buy the wants in life.  And as far as competition is concerned; I think it really boils down to what category your selling in. for example I sell used motorsports parts and I have seen an increase of new sellers trying to break in to the market here on ebay. So like others I have tried to break in to new markets " other selling Platforms"  but found that the other platforms just don't have the traffic like here on ebay. Even though we want to complain about ebay's policies and fees it is still one of the best selling sites.  and is still robust and will remain robust for years to come.

No it's the election. My sales are on fire, I've sold three of my crappy items since the election.

I haven't looked at my numbers individually, however based on Amazon/Walmart/eBay and a few others (looking at my hub). Today my sales are up 959%.

Women are the shoppers and I think they are kind of hit hard with the election right now. Cuz my sales have completely stopped. I usually make about 15 on Saturday I made one. We might be in for a rough ride.

I think this has something to do with the search results. When I search by lowest price half the listings are in order, and then after those it starts over again by lowest price. I'm not sure why there are 2 groups or what the 2 groups mean, but i'm in the lower group.
