Re: Ripped off

Which sale was this? There are no Mantle rookie cards showing as sold for $1400?

Re: Ripped off

For some strange reason you need to go through the feedback to find it

Re: Ripped off

Over on the right side in the header, click on "Advance", in the drop down click sold or completed listings, go down to show seller, tick the box and enter the name you are looking for, then click search. The Advance search is shown on buying selling listing pages, not in community section.

Re: Ripped off

Interesting, if the sales day was only Aug 12th, should be showing in sold items still. Don't know, maybe eBay pulled it?

Was the a signature required for delivery - was the item insured?

anything over $750 does though the USPS has been waiving signatures and buyers know it and know they will win that INR because of it

Re: Ripped off

Just one more thing and I apologize  in advance if this has already been pointed out and I somehow missed it.

You have a no return policy on your listing for this card so eBay did not require card returned to you on the listing that states you do not accept returns so eBay just refunded your buyer without buyer returning your item to you.

Accept returns if you want the item back

Re: Ripped off

That is not what No Returns mean.

If a buyer files SNAD on a No Returns item, eBay will still ask them to return the item with a label paid for by the seller.

Re: Ripped off

Then I guess customer service rep who refunded the buyer in OP's case messed up?

Yes if the seller accepts the return.

If they tried to fight it....a refund without getting the card back is a very likely scenario.

@terrycece62

Our now missing OP says the complaint was for INR.  Did not say if it was an eBay claim or Payment Dispute (chargeback) or if signature confirmation was used.

The "no return" policy is generally for 'remorse' returns, where the buyer actually tells the truth and says "I changed my mind", or "I found it cheaper someplace else".

There has been a change as well to the MBG where a "no returns" policy may be helpful (albeit temporary).  The time to make a SNAD will be three days instead of 30.  Of course, the buyer can always do a chargeback.

Update info:

For Trading Cards purchases, we're changing the time frame for buyers to request a return when the item doesn't match the listing. Starting July 29, 2021:

If the seller doesn't offer returns, the buyer must request a return no later than 3 calendar days after the estimated or actual delivery date

If the seller offers returns, the buyer must request a return within the seller's return window as stated in the listing

Re: Ripped off

A lot of my completed and sold listings have been missing from searches for years now.  Even ones within a week or so of ending.

Re: Ripped off

Not only did they remove the money from my available balance but they put me into a negative balance on top of that and then they awarded me an appeal in my favor two separate times bringing my account back to zero at one point but still no money they have no response or no answer and every time I call them and I need to speak with the management payments department and they're back office they have some kind of glitch in the system in our unable to handle my call at the time
