I am going to return item unopened to sender at UPS store, so I receive a receipt.
what do I need to do at that point in order to be refunded?

When you open an 'official' return, the 'label' given IS your receipt. If the item didn't originally come UPS, but came USPS, do NOT ship it UPS (the 'return' label is usually the same as originally shipped to you).
Once tracking shows it's been delivered, seller has 48 hrs to refund you. If they don't, you need to 'escalate to ebay' which is shown in the 'case' of the return you opened.

@ebenko11111
Did you file an eBay claim for the return? or are you just sending it back on your own?

Don't ship it back without requesting a return or if appropriate filing a case. If I just got a package returned I don't know what exactly I would think. Probably that the shipping service made an error.

@worldcoinauctions
If a buyer declines delivery (return to sender) or simply ships back something on their own dime without opening an official "return request" REGARDLESS of what the seller tells them, the seller is under no obligation to refund anything under eBay policy.
Not to say it is ethical for a seller to ignore the return, but basically the buyer sent the seller a free gift. That is why my question upthread to the OP was posed.
