Return missing

Hi, I just wondered, if I have sold an item to a buyer and they weren't happy with the item, so they have decided to return it to me, if the item never shows up, even though the buyer has provided tracking information, who ends up out of pocket? Is it the selller, the buyer (returner) or eBay?

The item I am waiting for is a £510 phone, so it isn't just throw away money, and I am worrying slightly as there hasn't been any updated information in 3 days, and it was sent by 48hr service.

I know there is still plenty of time for it to arrive, but it just made me curious to be honest.

Thanks

You are in the UK.........I would ask on that board as there can be different laws/rules.........

To answer your question, you should always be honest: Honesty is the best policy, regardless which side of the pond you pollute.

On the .com site the party that paid for the return shipping label is responsible. You need to check with the UK site to see what the process is there.
