I recently became a Basic Seller and having issues leaving "positive/negative" feedback. Before as a seller that didn't have a store, I was able to select either "positive" or "negative" feedback with comments. Now I can only leave feedback without the "positive/negative" feedback button.

Is there any way around that? Thanks.

SELLERS cannot leave negative feedback to buyers. It has nothing to do with having a store. Sellers haven't been able to neg buyers since 2008.

If you buy something, as a BUYER you still have the pos/neg options to leave the seller.

Sellers have not been able to leave negatives for buyers since 2008. You can only leave positive feedback. You also can not leave a positive with negative remarks for a buyer.

I bought an Ebay basic store 2 weeks ago. BEFORE THAT, (as of September 2020) I had the option of selecting "positive" or "negative".

Not as a seller to leave feedback for the buyer, the option does not exist, and hasn't for a dozen years.

ONLY as a buyer, not since 2008 as a seller.

Then you were the one and only seller on eBay who, after 2008, was allowed to leave negative feedback for a buyer.

I think you saw the neg / pos options when you was leaving feedback for a seller, and you have got confused.
