Restricted until tracking sent for every item

I am a seller and eBay out of the blue asked for all my tracking numbers. They pulled all 250 of my listings. I provided and they assured me it was routine. They were looking for drop shippers. Promised they’d put em all back. What ALL OF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND is that they DONT put them back. You do. Then it is like you listed them all on same day so you lose all your chronological data, u can no longer see what items been up longer or send coupons etc. you have to PAY to put all listings back and fight for refund. They then all expire at the same time rather than being staggered and expire again must repost again and pay again get refund again and THEN you reach your item limit by end of second week and must get it raised then the next week it happens again and again. It is THE bigges screw up and lack of even the most basic idea of how their own system works. Took me two months and nearly 60 hours to get it all right and THEN 3 months later they DID IT AGAIN!

this time because of “suspicious activity”, instead of sending me an email or calling me to say “hey is this you” they thought destroying my business, taking my traffic I built back to ZERO, was the smarter path.  If it happens again I will become a full time etsy seller. I still have no issues or complaints pending and this is unacceptable. So worried about the buyers… hey-ebay without SELLERS you have no eBay. So keep hiring children and keep harassing us. Bigger places than you have failed after a sudden change in societies view.

I understand completely, when eBay removed listings they are not saved anywhere they are gone for good. 
This is eBays domain, they make the rules. They want their site to be a safe one for everyone. By ensuring you’re a legitimate seller using legitimate tracking. 

So if they want all of your tracking numbers upload them. 

Also you’re not addressing eBay, responders in this forum are all eBay buyers and sellers like yourself who volunteer to try to help others.

By the way if you intend on leaving, you may want to end your store subscription….

Well maybe when it's a "review" or asking for information they SHOULD save those listings somewhere.

You don't appear to be selling anything that would warrant a review due to eBay having questions on where the items were obtained.

 

You might be having too many Item Not Received cases opened. According to buyers, this has been an issue. If you want to get your account squared away to continue to sell on eBay, make sure that when the buyer pays, you ship within your stated handling time or before. Also, do not allow eBay to step in and decide cases for you. If a refund is due, make sure to issue the refund yourself. Don't allow eBay to step in. If they do, it is another defect on your account. 

 

Sellers experience additional Final Value Fees when accounts fall below standard. You don't want to be there. 

 

If your account continues to experience Item Not Received cases, eBay will suspend the account again and perhaps permanently.

You have a lot of bad feedback for late shipping.  Too many negs for the same thing is not good.  That will get eBay on your case.

You are having complaints about not shipping on time, so check your late shipment defect% and  your transaction defect%.  Also scroll down to see your return%.

You have a lot of unhappy buyers complaining of non delivery, I would guess your Ebay selling career is finished.

When someone buys an item from you, you NEED to ship it! Good riddance to you! When you are lax and a buyer has a bad experience on Ebay, it affects ALL of us! Your feedback says it all!

Do you actually have the items you are selling? The delay in shipping suggests otherwise. The last feedback probably finished you off on eBay. Even if you go to Etsy, you will have to ship in timely fashion.

They were not 'looking for drop shippers' as drop shipping is allowed on Ebay. (Its not a good business strategy but it IS allowed.) Your problems apparently lay elsewhere.

 

Non-delivery or slow shipping seems to be your issue. Not sure why they would be asking you for tracking numbers if you already had the tracking number as part of your order details. Were you buying your shipping labels off Ebay (which is allowed) but failing to upload each tracking number to its sale?

When you trigger a review by Ebay, it minimizes the amount of Ebay time and effort expended and puts all of the burden on you.

 

How you trigger a review is a secret but the theme of your negative FBs is a hint.

 

Your concerns are not Ebay's concerns, nor are they the concerns of most sellers. All other sellers care about is getting reinstated.

 

Many or most sellers do not care about listing fees because they have stores. Stores are essential for sellers who sell collectibles or used items because their sell through rates are low enough for listing fees to affect their profit.

 

Most sellers do not worry about having staggered end dates because most buyers do not care about more an a few or only 1 from a specific seller.

 

Your complaint comes down to having to do more work, which Ebay has decided the seller under review WILL DO.

Wait, are you saying your listings all went to 'Ended', as in, not active but still intact and re-listable, so you had to relist all of them manually ...... or ...... that they completely disappeared, so you had to re-CREATE them all (take the photos, choose categories, complete item specifics, write descriptions, all over again)???

Were you delaying shipping because ebay was holding your funds? 

 

If that's the case, it's the catalyst for your issues. 

 

As a fairly new seller, you are subject to holds and shouldn't be waiting until money gets to your bank before shipment. The money IS in your account but ebay wants you to prove yourself before payouts become more frequent. 

 

If you weren't delaying shipping, why weren't you shipping the items you'd sold?

     As others mentioned this is probably not a drop shipper hunt by eBay and in reality eBay already has the tracking information provided you uploaded it when you shipped the items. I have seen several of these types of postings and always found it idiotic that eBay requested information that they already have. Your problems, as others suggested, probably are with your seller metrics. Take a look at the following in your seller hub. All of these should be 0% except for the tracking uploaded on time and verified which should be at 100%.

This is funny as I came to this subject of eBay suppressing listings because mine have seem to have been cut in half. I thought at first was because a review of my account was coming up. That couldn’t have been it because I went from above average to top seller and I have no negative or neutral feedback. But it’s just funny with your score you’re receiving any sells at all and you’re still going. If eBay cut my sells especially if I wasn’t shipping out I’d probably have given up along time ago. My only guess is my brother seen how profitable my sells were and he opened his own store and is experiencing the new seller probation. He lives within eyesight of me and uses the same bank as me. I’m wondering if eBay thinks we’re one and the same or something and has hidden my listings. I’m totally different seller and pretty much try to help him when he has questions about selling on eBay. It’s just crazy people who don’t follow policies complain eBay pulled or suppressed their listings when the rest of us are doing everything right and feeling the same😂
