They would be better off to try to get something going with Payoneer which will probably be the option offered when Managed Payments comes to Sri Lanka.

I suspect that they will run into the same problem. Is there a difference between PayPal and Ayden as far as their government is concerned?

When I checked on Adyen's website when the Sri Lanka sellers first started showing up on the boards I did not even see Sri Lanka on Adyen's list of countries they will work with. However I do see Sri Lanka on the list of countries for Payoneer. Probably why eBay has forged some sort of alliance with Payoneer ... to use it for those countries that Adyen prefers not to work with.
