For some reason I wasn't able to refund a buyer through the normal route through ebay, so I went directy through Paypal ad refunded the buyer. Now ebay is not recignizing the refund and is asking me to refund the buyer or send the item which is way over due. I tried going through the ebay help page, however my situation is not an option for the help I need. How do I actually resolve this issue? Thank you all so much for your help.

You'll get more accurate assistance on here if you can provide more details. What was the reason you couldn't refund your buyer via eBay? What went wrong with the refund?
You will need to cancel the order through your eBay account in order to stop receiving the notices from eBay. Your account will be dinged for late shipment now because you haven't resolved this. If you can explain what your issues are than you will receive better advice and you can then resolve this correctly.

It's fine to go through the motions to refund again at eBay: There's no refund left to refund, so you won't lose any more money.
And the reason is not relevant; it's way overdue, so what's done is done.

To be clear..........this is NOT a glitch..... The refund simply wasn't done correctly so that "everything" would fall into place correctly..... You will have to contact ebay and get a rep that understands what you did and that will refund your fees.
