Been buying and selling on Ebay since the late 90's. Bught for years (a bunch) and started selling after Hurricane Katrina. Ebay-PayPal combination was great . Fantastic CS agents. Left when Ebay-Paypal split mess. Came back and bought alot everyday and started selling. Still a good platform until the 2000 teens. Started holding funds for no reason. Stop selling and got on Ebay funding which was great for a while. Started selling again and here come the "funds on hold" scenario and no explanation given but that I was a new seller. Told them I was not and they advised if you have not sold in 6mos, you are considered a new seller. Asked about the 20 years and over 100K in buying-selling. Told me that it made no difference. Wow, such loyalty-one way that is. Listed some items several months ago after the economy tanked and they stayed on for months with no sales. Lister some again and they have finally started selling. Sold one item last week and had express payout. Sold another yesterday and I started to ship today and I noticed funds were on hold. Called CS and agent said that it was because I had not sold anything since 6/24. Well, the economy was not good. So, all of this propaganda they say to you about "customer loyalty" is just hype. Same bank, same address, 100% positive feedback since day one in the 90's, buying constantly and this is the great respect they show their loyal customers. Enough of this insanity with the Ebay bunch. Hopefully they will not send their security to my home and leave naughty things on my porch like they got charged with and paid a hefty fine. LOL

I know this can be a real hardship on some. But while you have had an account for a long time, you have very little experience as a seller. This is a short term issue of holding your funds. List some small stuff that you think they can sell quickly so you can rack up about 10 transactions or so. It would certainly help.
Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

As to the garbage you started to spew at the end of your post, why are you even here????

Learned long time ago what one did yesterday doesn't count. What you are doing today & tomorrow does. And this saying from year gone by is still valid "the old gray mare ain't what she used to be" as time changes every thing - even you and me. eBay or any other similar site cannot satisfy everyone's wants & needs. In their very best efforts they might please 80% - there is no such thing/place as Utopia.

Accounts like yours which have had little activity and long dormant periods, but a good record, are attractive to thieves who hijack ebay accounts for bogus listings. I don't think you even have to go on the dark web to find them to purchase. So now anyone is subject to holds for a period of time if they haven't sold in a while.
Think about it - what if you logged into your account to find it hijacked with a lot of bogus listings for Apple products and glitzy watches? I suspect you'd demand why this wasn't vetted.
