I am just wondering if any sellers out there have encountered rude comments from ebay lookers or buyers? Someone has contacted me about something I am selling and accusing me of trying to falsely advertise a collector piece. I try to do the very best I can in explaining what something is and never try to mislead people. But this person was just obnoxious! Sending me note after note and telling me everything I was selling was fake, etc. etc. It's just really uncalled for. Why can't people just be nice? We already have enough to deal with today without mean people in this world! Thanks for lettimg me blow off some steam!! Have a good days folks!

It happens. Telling you that you won't get that much for an item, criticizing the pics, being rude because they didn't get the answer they wanted in a question reply, etc.
BLOCKED!

Dealing with the general public can be a challenge at times, for sure!
Ignore and block. Don't engage with such people, because that leads only to more irritation and frustration.

It's pretty much hard to draw a breath anymore without crossing paths with
somebody that's rude.

Repeating: Ignore and block.
We have always found that those people who complain about or demean an item means that they really want it but can't afford it. Or it could be a competitor just trying to get a rile out of you.

If someone sends a message to you that you don’t like, just MoveOn. Emails and eBay messages are easy to ignore. Some of us use salty language, some are confrontational, others might just be having a bad day. If you know that your stuff is real, comments, that indicate otherwise really aren’t important.

Does telling me that my price is much higher than Ace Hardware count?

No, but if they tell you that your prices are higher than those of Restoration Hardware, those are fighting words.

When you block be sure to tick the no message box.
If you reply back to them, even if you block them, they can still message you up to 30 days.

Yes. Ace hardware and other things.
Do you get sand in your keyboard? 10-12 hours at the beach everyday, and all that.

It's sometimes a ploy to get a lower price by denigrating the product.
Got one of those the other day, telling me their lowball offer was because the item did not have a certificate of authenticity. But the lack of a cert. was the reason that it was selling for 1/3 of the catalogue value.
I do have Best Offer on the item, with accept/refuse parameters enabled.
I counter offered because a sale is a sale, after looking at his feedback.
And of course he is a seller in the same category.
Surprise, surprise.

When I have done flea markets, the early sales were to other dealers. Man did I sell cheap, as said, a sell is a sell and I was glad to move the cra%...I mean inventory off my tables. 🙂 lol

There are people that are born to spoil somebodies day.
And people that are bound to find a reason to have their day ruined. Seriously, you choose your attitude.

You need to block this person
Don't take it personal, this buyer or looker may have done this to other sellers
