First Time after being on here 3 + years - a Forced return.
Not that it is much money; it was 13.55% of 100+ item, yah it adds up I get that - a few weeks later they billed me for shipping label , I know I can appeal it , not worth my flipping time { Although I'm on here gripping about it , and with good reason the landscape of people on eBay seems to be changing , the ones with a long history with eBay figured out how to play the game , if your a seller , you get what I'm saying , the Part and full refund game , keep it thing. } Oh, I'm not slamming the buyer on here, the "Item came back" "", I'll deal with that later. I don't take returns { I'm Not Walmart, I sell mostly, Vintage and Antiques } - I buy a hell of a lot on on here , more then I sell , matter of fact a lot of sellers stopped selling to the United States because of it, I do have people overseas who will sell to me and not others 😁
Now the { Two } Questions are :
How come I did not get my fees back ? And any one have a Solution ?
Like I said it is my first time dealing with a forced return.
On the flip side -One other guy in 3 + years made a honest mistake, we talked on the phone - he paid to return item and not only did I send him a postal money , we became friends, yes, I said postal money order, he does not have much love for eBay, point is - he was honest with me , unlike this deal. and it was what he requested, and yes by sending a Postal money order , I ate the fees and I even refunded his tax amount, { so his state got taxes and eBay kept the fees } - I stated this as there is a fine line in business ,40 + years of doing Clock ,Watch and Antique restorations I have seen it all. Like I tell people - it is better to have a friend then a enemy. Most of you who read this can tell - I feel I got the raw side of this. Thank you in advance for any solutions ? Cheers From The Florida Space Coast

Forced how?
Did eBay have to step in and approve the refund? If so, you're not getting anything back.

I don't take returns
---------------------------
But you were forced to take the return, so your statement means nothing to eBay, why not have a friendly policy to accept returns since you have no choice.
we became friends, yes,
------------------------------------
Great, if you're here to make friends.
he does not have much love for eBay,
---------------------------------------------
Why is he on eBay?
I feel I got the raw side of this
-------------------------------------
A little change in your business policies will help you avoid all of that.
Goodluck.
