It looks like "VENMO5" is an eBay coupon that eBay provides to certain buyers, probably only if they use Venmo to fund the payment, in order to encourage people to start using the new payment option, Venmo.
eBay funds coupons like that. You can't remove it, and you don't need to "compensate" for the coupon amount. The seller would receive the full payment, and eBay covers the coupon amount.

I looked at that listing and even added to cart to test this and no coupon was shown.
I also read through your terms and conditions and wanted to let you know that your no returns policy has no backing on eBay. If a buyer opens an INAD you will be refunding willingly or eBay will do it for you and let buyer keep your item.

This item sold and you were shorted $5.00?
That is not how the ebay coupons are supposed to work....
You (seller) should not even be cognizant of any discount/coupon/marketing initiated by ebay. It is all handled on the front end. Your detail should be fulfilled at the listed price.

Thank you Monica -sells , it has not sold yet , just listed it `
Thank you aproudparent2010 - this was about a fee , not my terms, oh and thank you I do not have issues, my phone number is on eBay when you go to ask seller a question , communication is key and I only sell things with my line of work. My feedback specks for itself , and I buy a lot on eBay

We are seeing this more often on the board. Why the heck did they change how long we can edit our posts? It used to be only 5 minutes or so to fix typos. Now posters can delete (saw that yesterday too) or completely alter their whole posts whenever they want or at least for much longer than five minutes.

They'll probably be back wanting to know why some of their listings were removed.

You can get my phone number by going to ask seller a question - eBay gives it out "Any seller can do this.
No! In exchanging or giving your own contact information might find yourself on the receiving end of a nastygram (at best) or a suspension (at worst).
You also should get rid of the clock and watch repair information. Outside links and URLs are disallowed.

They removed their question and their listings.

I do thank you for the help
Let me explain this in a nice way
Lacemaker3 - helped me, so thank you
The ad only shows if your part of the program - I had googled it and searched eBay - and thankfully got the answers
Just google Venmo - and not everyone is invited to use a coupon
I'm just trying to tell you what shows Not sure if I'm a loud to put links on here
Now as far as phone number - a lot of sellers do it - right through eBay when you go to ask seller a question there is a link called get sellers phone number - I hope that helps you all eBay allows it - I sell a lot of tech stuff and people ask questions.
Yes I repair things - I do not do it on eBay I just sell extra stuff - now look how many items I bought in past couple years well over 1000 Now do the math a lot of these items come from overseas as well , so in the past couple years I have spent over $10,000 on just shipping.
I do not fix anything I sell on eBay - just how they came in from my picker - I buy stuff for my restoration business
I took my adds down to fix them and I take my items down every few months and put up new items, I only have around 50- 80 items on for a few months
I also was in contact with eBay and now I'm with in spec
This Vemno thing is part of paypal from what I was reading tonight and the coupons are limited to I think it said $5.00 per $50 - One time use and not transferable - the coupons are on invitation - that is why one of you could not see it
I'll reply again - by the way I do not sell on my website I'm booked 6 months out now - really I do not need work from eBay - after 40 years - I was just letting people know because I sell those type of items , others who buy them like straight answers on what they are buying, make since - If a seller can not answer my questions when I'm looking to buy I pass it up. Saves everyone time, I'm in my 60s and old fashion business practices have taken a back seat in this world , a shame - if you think about it
You all have a nice Holidays Season - I celebrate Christmas myself
So I'm Wishing you all a Blessed Season Regardless of your beliefs
And really thank you for your help
Cheers

I messed up creating mine and I did them as public versus private because private kept giving me an error and now I have every one of my listings that has a coupon code AND it was not explained that you can't delete them once published. It's not right. It looks like a new feature and I'm new to having a storefront. Anything I can do to get them removed? I created one about 6 different times where I got an error, but actually it looks like some worked and some didn't.
