Question About Inventory

Is anyone else having issues with inventory? If I only specific item and it says only 1 in my inventory yet if different people buy the same item on the same day I don't have the product for one of my customers which in turn makes me look bad. I have not had this problem prior to the last couple weeks. Just curious if anyone else is having the same issue? Who should I have look into this for me? Thank you in advance.

If you only have 1 item and two people try to buy it, the first one to pay gets it.

When the other buyer tries to pay, they should get a message saying it's out of stock.

Whoever pays first gets it, no problem.

You can set your listings to require immediate payment now and there should be no issues.

What they say is true. But if you're talking about your variation listings, have you made sure they have the correct inventory set for each variation? I believe also, that if you end and relist those (as opposed to letting it renew) the original inventory will be reset. Perhaps that is your problem.

I agree with @bdmh-enterprises 

If you use "relist" on a variation listing, the inventory resets to the original amount you had, so if you add something in a variation listing, you need to make sure you "Add the Line Yourself" when you are adding the new variation, and not just adding it.
