Problems with a buyer

Help! I've had the same buyer purchase a handbag 3 times and never pay. I looked at their feedback and saw where this was a common practice for this individual. I blocked them due to reading that they had purchased handbags previously, reported them damaged, received a refund from eBay and never returned the handbag to the seller. To my dismay, they just purchased and paid for the handbag after I had blocked them a week ago. Now I'm afraid they will do the same thing to me. This is a new Micheal Kors handbag. What do I do?

Re: Problems with a buyer

Wait 96 hours from the day the buyer made the purchase to cancel citing buyer didn’t pay.
Do not send invoices to the buyer as this will only prolong the amount of time for you to cancel.
when you cancel citing buyer didn’t pay, that buyer will receive an unpaid item strike against their account. When the receive 2 of this strikes in a 12 month period, they will be blocked from bidding and buying from countless items.
If the same buyer has bought you can cancel citing problem with buyers address and report them to eBay for circumventing your buyer block.
You also should check your blocked buyers list to be sure you do have them blocked.
If I’m incorrect someone will chime in to correct me.

Re: Problems with a buyer

Since the buyer has paid, up to you if you want to ship or cancel and get a defect. If she does open a case when she receives the bag, be sure to respond to it with a return label and refund after return. Hopefully you'll get your bag back. If not, you can appeal after the case closes.

Re: Problems with a buyer

I would highly recommend contacting eBay Customer Service.

They'll advise you on what to do AND they'll note about this buyer so if buyer tricks you, CS will have a record (when you call for help again).

Re: Problems with a buyer

I would cancel using "problem with address"... after all, the buyer WAS blocked and that is the BLOCKED buyer's address, no? You can also report them for circumventing your buyer block.

Re: Problems with a buyer

You can set your preferences to block bidders/buyers who have 2 or more unpaid item strikes in the past year. I suggest you do that if you have not already.  If they have a history of not paying they will have them.
