I sold a golf club. I am not a golfer so in no way an expert.
I posted the title from what I thought was the same club. I took photos of the whole club including all written details.
Customer got the club, and said my description said "Regular Flex" but in fact it was a "SR Flex".
I don't mind refunding the money for the club because I have a return policy anyway, but the shipping is very high. The photos of the club clearly say SR Flex.
So if the description is wrong, but the correct information is clearly in the photo, can I only refund the club but not the shipping?
Thanks for your help?

What really matters is 'what reason' did buyer use for return (is it official return?)

No. You cannot refund only the payment for the club. The club that the buyer received was not as described.
You will be required to send the buyer a prepaid shipping label and to refund in full upon receipt of the returned item. This is one of the problems we can encounter when selling in an unfamiliar category.

No, your description said regular flex and the transaction is based off what the seller writes. Yes, photos are a part of the listing but only a portion of it. In photos you can place your item for sale on top of a table to take photos of it, but that doesn't mean the table is a part of the transaction. What the title says and what your description says is what makes up the majority of your listing. Besides that, this platform offers a money back guarantee to all buyers so once your buyer uses not as described you must fully refund. You won't get out of withholding anything here so best to get ahead and ask your buyer to simply return it. You can sell it again with a better description. Best of luck to you....

SR stands for Stiff / Regular, which is a very common flex for Japanese clubs. Great for players that are currently playing a Stiff flex and finding it slightly hard but have experienced difficulty with the Regular
You have another listing that has this description -
Your written description(s) is (are) what counts especially the detailed info YOU filled in and in the main title.. Pics help reinforce the written words.
Sorry.
Buyer is entitled to a full refund.
Hint: Go to a local Pro Shop and they usually have a box fitted for golf clubs for shipping & receiving clubs - I did when I sold them on eBay.

Thanks everyone, I offered the buyer a full refund...

Given the shipping cost the best business solution would be to simply refund and abandon the club with the buyer. That way you are only out your cost of the club and the shipping as opposed to the cost of the club and the shipping X2. Your going to take the a hit either way so best just to move on with a lesson learned.

Can you give me a link to the "soft R Flex? I don't think that is mine...

You are talking about the club I already sold? Yes that one is correct.
I just made the mistake with the current one of using a listing exactly the same except for the SR shaft.
