Problem getting to store categories Sorry... cgi6.ebaystores.com could not be found.

Is anyone else having this issue?

When you try and go into a category or do a search in your store the following error message comes up:

Sorry... cgi6.ebaystores.com could not be found.

It has been happening since around noon eastern today.

Anyone have a clue?

The solution is to upgrade your store to the new format:

You're using the old store format and need to update to the new one. Notice your broken URL's and non-encrypted links. It looks like everybody who's still using the old format is having the same issues you are.

I have a problem with my search Categories lists and summery page. I am a Uk Ebayer and all my lists and categories are coming up in American dollars and not English Pounds. So when I go to search a list its as though i live in America and not the UK. My account on my phone and tablet are both fine, they are in English Pounds.  My partner has the same problem with his laptop. Is there a technical glitch with Ebay at the moment ?  I see that there are some changes to Ebay recently and wondered if that was at fault.. If anyone can help and answer as to why this fault is happening Please do as my partner loves browsing the car and vehicle lists and is being told it cannot be found. He is pulling his hair out.. To stop his laptop being launched out the window please help......

Users in the UK and elsewhere are being redirected to the US site when selecting categories to search on the main ebay.co.uk page or search results page without using any keywords. Avoid searching that way; you can add keywords and search, or else choose the categories using the "Shop by category" links on the left side of the search entry field.

If possible, try erasing your ebay.com browser cookies -- that way if you are redirected again, you will be forced to sign in, making more likely you will notice.
