Believe me, I would agree with you in general terms... 99.99% of the stuff that they sell for men smells like, well, I will mind my manners and not say it.

There was a thing going around a week ago or so about having everyone not buy at Amazon for a day.
I must be woefully out of touch because I heard nothing about such a boycott.
Not that I would participate... I love having stuff delivered to my front door on time and as promised.
I did have a funny experience the other day... I ordered a bottle of after shave from Amazon.
It was delivered in a box with Hazmat stickers on it.
Was that a subtle comment by Amazon's artificial intelligence packaging bot?
@fbusoni @gator08041971 LOL, no. Perfume which I'm sure would include after shave, is indeed considered a hazardous material & at least for USPS must be labeled as such. I just had to do it for the first time & it was such a nightmare, it took me 1 1/2 hour b/c I didn't know about everything you had to do & also these stickers you have to affix, which of course I didn't have. It was SUCH a hassle, that even though I took several unopened perfumes from my mom's estate to sell, I'm not gonna bother. I tagged you both cuz unclear who actually made the joke. BTW, Gator I'm gonna reach out to you soon, I saw in an interesting post about your chinese DVD's.
ETA: To answer OP's question, I had no idea there was a 'boycott' & I never price match anything. I don't try to be the cheapest on eBay, Simply, the Best 😃

@theteamsetguy You're right about that. The only one I actually know of, is being done by the 'right-ies'.

Lefties aren’t the only ones doing boycotts.
I'm not sure if making videos of shooting stuff already purchased counts as boycotting, but yeah that's what the Right does. 🤣

Oh?

True, but they have a distinct advantage throwing a curveball compared to a right hander. Wait, what are we talking about?

Perfume and aftershave..........I mailed my mom's ashes to my sister. The guy at my rural post office had to call someone just to find out what to do. You'd think the ashes (ground up bones and sterile) were toxic radioactive waste the way he reacted. LOL.
He did have the appropriate stickers on hand though and I already researched how to pack them. Tupperware believe it or not is an accepted container, inside of a package of course.
Bright stickers all over the package..................

I think he really did it just to show off that he has a license to have that gun (FFL). Besides shooting stuff is fun.
I'm pretty much down the middle when it comes to politics but rarely pass on an invite to go shoot stuff if done in a safe and responsible manner, Blocks of ice on a sunny day with one of my old bolt action WWII mausers.....crystal rainbows,,,beautiful................

That does sound fun; I think I could get into guns and now that my kid is grown and gone I might just buy one, one of these days. But I'm not sure which 'he' you're referring to. The Right being triggered by several different companies over the past several years has resulted in countless of those videos of shooting (or exploding or destroying in some manner) the companies' products ... again, after those companies already got their money.

I remember back in the day when Amex Blue (I think that's what it was called) first came out they pricematched any store or website. You'd buy the item using the card, show them proof of the lower price then Amex would credit you back the price difference. Many people made their own phony websites to look like an ecommerce site with the item they purchased showing a dirt cheap price and Amex would honor the PM.

My wife never heard of any Big A buying boycott and just kept buying as usual. IMHO boycotts tend to be very useless.

Thanks, I had absolutely no idea.
That is funny, but I guess it makes sense, since the stuff is "volatile."

@fbusoni The way you put was quite amusing, but yes, it's alcohol based, so highly flammable. To be fair, it wasn't really that hard to mail, if I'd only known the regs & had all the necessary materials on hand. I wound up printing the 'sticker' rogue off the web & 1/2 hour of it was getting that **bleep** sticker to print in the right proportions for the box I was using cuz all the websites are just set up for you to buy stickers lol. They're also quite expensive & you have to buy a roll. You also need a "leakproof" interior container. So MANY regulations. Then my buyer was unhappy cuz it was slow shipping. Just one of those all around, not gonna do that again. But I'm sure if you do it on the daily, it's ez as pie. Happy to help. I enjoy your posts a lot.
Cremated remains also have a lot of special handling requirements, but yeah they can be mailed by USPS. I let the funeral home handle it though. I didn't need more stress at the time.
@gator08041971 I'll reach out privately, I'm swamped right now. Plus I want to play the media item in question first, to see if there's anything obvious when I play it.
