Does anyone feel like their posts are being suppressed? I post an item for sale and later try to look it up and sometimes can't find it. Then I notice this item gets no "views" or "watches". I can't afford to use the "promote"
function. I feel like I pay enough in selling fees already. I don't think this is fair.

I don't use the pay to play either. My sales have sunk by a considerable amount from when ebay started playing this game. I don't expect any sales on here any more but I still list my items because if or when I make a sale I consider it a bonus. If you want to survive this you have to spread your wings and use other platforms as well.

No, I don't feel like my items are being suppressed.
You sell jewelry and purses, which are both highly saturated categories. In handbags alone there are 2,276,077 Results. In earings 452,826 Results.

I question this as well. 200 of over 600 listings in my store have not received ONE page view in the last 60 days. I can understand no watchers but page views? I would think there would be AT LEAST one page view.

In general there are several reasons why an item might not appear in a given search.
Too soon -- items can take 24 hours to be indexed and appear in a search; longer if your revise the item before it appears.
Sorting by "price plus shipping: lowest first" -- when a lowest first sort is performed, you will often see a message at the top of the results: "We removed some search results to show you the most relevant listings. View all results" or "We’ve streamlined your search results to show you the best listings. See more results" -- if you want to see all the results, you need to either try another sort, or click on that "View all results" or "See more results" link. Otherwise you are only seeing a subset of the results of that search.
Wrong Category -- if a site-wide search using a particular keyword returns many items, eBay will often direct that search automatically into one particular category. Sellers should take this into account when deciding which categories to list their items in. If possible, try searching the way a potential customer might, and see where the search ends up. Listing in the wrong category can mean that users searching using certain keywords are actually looking in an entirely different category than the one the item has been listed in.
No Shipping -- if an item does not have a shipping method to a specified location, buyers in that location will not be able to see that item. This is often a problem for export sellers that do not ship to their own location.
Time Away -- if you put your store on vacation using the Time Away feature, your items can be hidden from search. After ending Time Away it may take a day or two for your listings to be re-indexed and appear again.
In addition there have been some known location-specific issues that affect users in India, Hawaii and Alaska that may prevent them from seeing local items, as well as various other search bugs from time to time.

You only have a handful of items in very saturated categories/brands and they're all auction format. All three of those things are working against you.
The earrings on the white carpet have much better lighting and more accurate colors than some of the other jewelry. I'd re-take pics for the other jewelry sets and lots, and for the suede bag, too.
Get rid of all the punctuation in your titles. The dashes and slashes can hurt you with search.
The "gold tone floral" jewelry set looks blue - is it? If it is then put blue in the title along with the word rose. What color is the faceted bead jewelry set? Title doesn't say. The suede bag title doesn't say either.
Not sure who is going to search for "shoulderbag" but someone might search for "shoulder bag" ?
Figure out average selling prices for those items and use fixed price format. Auctions don't place well in external search engines due to their short life.
With so few listings you need to make sure they are presented well with killer titles, key words, item specifics, descriptions with measurements, clear photos, etc.
Hope some of that helps.

You've sold 16 out of 40 listings in the last 90 days.....most by auction, some with more than 1 bid. Pretty good...to me.
I would caution that you aren't going to get any changes by simply "feeling" you aren't getting views....best you can do is try to attract more.......
ie. Vera B purses.....you say in description "lots of pockets"...why not count them and put in the title where you have plenty of room? It's information that could attract a buyer.
on the gold tone floral necklace set........to me it's an absolutely blue color....and it's roses....Roses could be in the title.....
and you do need to know you aren't allowed to claim you're selling for a charity unless you list using Ebay's charitable option on the listing form.
just some thoughts.........

There are dozens of valid reasons why a specific search might not return a specific item.
When a seller posts here and gives a specific example of a specific search and the item he is expecting to find, about 90% of the time there is a simple explanation fro what is happening or what the seller is doing wrong.
If you would like to post the search criteria you are using and the item number of the item you expect to find, we can try to help.
But without that detail, you will get no satisfaction.

I don't think Ebay is suppressing listings but listings in saturated categories might not be easily seen. Try ending the listing and then relist using the "sell similar" option. At least it will be seen by those who search by selecting the newly listed option.

Your item is always visible. Don't be fooled or think otherwise. The problem is there are over a million jewelry and purse items on Ebay. If you cannot afford to promote in an oversaturated category you have no choice but to have items on page 45 in which a buyer will never look that far. The good news is if you have one of the lowest prices compared to other sellers, many buyers search lowest first, and yours will show on top.

One of the criteria for Search is sales.
The more you sell the higher you will be in Search.
Views show only "human" views, not robots or search engines, and they are only for the last 30 days.
This means if you had one View 29 days ago, you will see that View today but not on Saturday because of rollover.
Promoted Listings only cost the seller when they make a sale.
And you can choose the percentage you are willing to pay.
The lowest is 2%.
This means you will be paying ~14.9% on every sale instead of ~12.9%.
But you got the sale.
How price-conscious are your buyers?
