Occasional seller here but can notice a scam when i see one. Sold a rear view mirror for a parted out truck. What got my attention was the shipping address, Ships to Home Depot in Virgin Islands. Ive never shipped directly to a store, especially to the VI. Thinking of just cancelling the order and revising all my listings to ship to the lower 48 only.

I'm not sure where Home Depot comes into this - the package is being SHIPPED there, doesn't mean that Home Depot purchased it.*
*A lot of people have stuff shipped to their work address, as noted above.

This is all a big mystery. I've never heard of anyone in the Virgin Islands buying a rearview mirror. Or for that matter, even needing one. It could be someone who works at Home Depot and needs a pocket mirror so they can shave on the job. That could also explain why they bought the one with map lights.

Seems that it would likely fit just fine. If it were the other way perhaps not. Base model could use a better one as it would not need all the functionality, but a base model mirror would be lacking some of the perks for the upscale needs. Also getting the dome light.
It's not bad to be wary, but I think your "spidey senses" have been skewed by prior experiences.
I see no issue with application, or destination.

Buyer responded so ill be shipping it out.
as for the recording, I meant taking photos of nicks and scratches so I can identify my part in case of returns. Had other car parts returned in the past, and I just re post it. Its just for my reference to know its actually mine.

Actually there's a good chance Home Depot would have seen one, if they own such a truck.

I didn’t suggest it was for a delivery truck.
My guess was that the buyer was having a personal item delivered to their workplace … maybe to avoid porch pirates at home … or they might work on their car at work.
I read posts about buyers having packages delivered to their workplace regularly. It’s not uncommon.
