Hello guys,

I am from Turkey. I opened a business account from Turkey got permanently suspended afterwards. I didn't list anything. I just set up my account and my payoneer account . So usually i sent an e mail to support team. They told me my adress shown as default, default , TR and recommended to me open a new account (really I mean even I know if i open a new account it will also be banned so no point ) however when I check their system my adress information show as should be. And i reply them and they start sendin auto messages. And they wont let me to proof my company or myself. They just sending auto messeges. What would be the real reason of this. And what should I do next.

I am not going to dropshipping or any shady stealth business. As I said I am from Turkey. We are selling women acccesorries. We were going to ship our products from Turkey. We have stores on other marketplaces that accept international sellers aswell since ebay changed their payment system to payoneer (paypal has no licence in turkey ) we thought its ok to sell in here. But they banned us in an hour. i dont really understand. What do you recommend me about this.

You might post on an international board......Uk or another to see if others have like problems and what they did. Here in the US, we've been thru the payment change, but not with Payoneer.

That said........one of the big problems here was Names/addresses not matching on Ebay with bank accounts. John Doe on Ebay and John L Doe on a bank account didn't work.......likewise a Post office box didn't go.....they needed a street address. How much of that would apply to you, I have no idea. We also don't have to have a business account.....which may complicate things even worse if you do.

I agree not to open another account until you have more information.

This is primarily a U.S. based sellers forum but a little more clarity may help answer your question. If you are in Turkey are you trying to open an account on the US based eBay site? If so, and you are not drop shipping from a U.S. based location that may be part of the problem. In addition there may be issues with the payment processing and financial transaction aspects of you trying to setup a U.S. based account.

A lot of foreign countries, for a number of reasons, do not allow the use of PayPal to handle financial transactions and while eBay is making headway with Payoneer as an alternative I am not sure what progress is being made in that area for Turkey. If you are attempting to setup a Turkish like eBay site you may want to read the following. This is also relevant to sellers in Turkey.

Suggests you had previous accounts which opens the door to the possibility there was an issue in another account.

This account was registered in USA and is now NARU - you need to register on your own site in Turkey

and open your account there.

@downunder-61, I'm sorry, but that information is a bit misleading, and your conclusion is incorrect.

In that location, when it says "in United States" that means the person registered on eBay.com (it's their site of registration), which is very common with global members when there is no eBay website in their country. They have to register on an eBay site in another country, and many of them choose choose eBay.com. That is allowed; there's even a section of the Help pages specifically for global sellers: www. export.ebay.com

The country of OP's registered address is shown on his feedback profile page, and that shows Turkey, so he registered correctly.

People are allowed to have eBay accounts and sell items from Turkey. I just searched for items in Europe, and found a number of sellers who have been selling successfully from Turkey for years.

It sounds like there must have been a problem with your address, but eBay doesn't make a user NARU (not a registered user) just because of that. Most of the time, when a user is suspended completely so quickly, it is because the new account was linked with another account that had been made NARU before.

Once a person has been made NARU, they aren't allowed to create a new account or use eBay at all. So, the evidence suggests that is why your account was suspended.

I am going to back up this scenario, also to say there was a problem with the address, what I suspect that means is a previous eaby user lived at your present address and caused problems to get suspended so now eaby links all userID's created with that address and suspends them...

Are you perhaps renting an apartment, or some place where other people have lived before?
Not sure how one might go about solving this, but if you have never had an eaby account that got suspended and/or it was not you creating havoc at that address then I would think perhaps eaby's trust and safety department may be able to assist.

Further, you may be able to get to an eaby representative on their facebook page.

Names address and bank account are correct. We are already selling products other marketplaces that accept seller from turkey. I have stores on Amazon US UK DE accounts and others aswell never experienced such a thing. We didnt sell on ebay this time because they are asking for paypal which they dont have a licence on turkey. So when they changed to payoneer we give a try. But it is weird. I tried to speak customer services many times. One of them told me I have an unsual purchasing habit thats why ebay banned me. How can I have a purchasing habit from ebay. I opened a seller account and banned. Most of them doesnt give a proper reply and just sendin an auto message for privacy reason they cannot tell me what i got banned. I mean I am getting banned I cannot learn why. Very weird platform. Ill call them on Monday see what happens.

Hi ,

A lot of countires doesnt use paypal becuase paypal has no licence do business with them. When you open a new account they are forcing you to use Payoneer. Which payoneer has a lincese in turkey thats why I am thought give a try. If I am now correctly they dropped paypal and transfering all sellers to payoneer.

I also thought that just becuase I am a turkish seller from turkey but i saw meany indian chinese seller in ebay. I really dont know what is the real reason behind this.

Thank you for your reply. But it doesn't suggest that. It means I read the mail I got when I banned. It litrerally writes there. If you have linked accounts they also be suspended. And Im having a only one Payoneer account. So they eventually will be link.

Thank you for your reply. Do you know what should I do next ? I contacted several people on customer support and they are acting like bot and sending version of same reply. for privacy reason they cannot tell me why i got banned. I mean I am banned why are you hiding from me.

Yes It is correct I am from Turkey. And when you open a new account they are asking a payoneer account which has license to business in turkey. All my informations are correct. My adress my company information i told them many times I can send my documents but no luck. What should i do next ?

Ok we clarify at least one thing. Turks are able to sell on ebay. Actually people from turkey shouldn't be able to sell on ebay because paypal has no business license in turkey for many years. they are using vpn etc. I don't want sell anything if we are not a legit. But they wont let me to proof I am legit.

One representative told me something is wrong my address but its not. I check with payoneer account also on ebay account it is same and correct address. We don't have any other account because as i said paypal has no license on Turkey so when Ebay decided to work with payoneer we give it a go. This is our first account. Ok how can I become a registered user ? And how can I open this suspension. I don't want to open an account because it also be banned. Support wont let me send my documents to them. There is no place on ebay that I can upload my ID my Tax Certificate etc. They are just sending same automated message all the time. For privacy reason they can share with me why i got banned. Ridiculous.
