LOL... I can remember shopping here in the early days and placing international orders to Europe and paying by personal check. It took 3 weeks for the check to reach the seller via snail-mail,  another two to clear the bank, and then the up to 4  week wait for the item to arrive. 

That's right, young folks... Almost 9 weeks. Immediate payment, what? More than a 4 day wait, what?

Hang in there. It's all good in the end.

As others have posted many times ......  eBay should figure out a way to alert returning sellers (those selling pre MP) to these changes prior to starting back in.

managed payments (MP), as you likely (hopefully) already know, does not "front" the buyer payment while it is processing the way PP did, but alll-in-all it's a fairly smooth operation. Refunding can be a bit quirky, but it all works.

Been playing MP for 3+ years, and I have had no problems.

Sorry that things are not good for you.

1) eBay/PP parting ways has nada to do with your sales. buyers can still pay that way, and eBay/MP has added ways to pay

2) eBay does not "charge" sales tax 🙂    they "collect/remit" sales tax as required by law

3) stopped charging monthly fees ?   not even sure what that means, or what is has to do with sales

4) I "promote" nothing. Some categories may need to.
