I sold a 650 dollars laptop and shipped with FedEx without require signature.
I do appeal the case and still wait for the result. I kind of assume this is still going for buyer’s favor since no new evidence there. However, why is this become my responsibility? I shipped the item with tracking and tracking showed it delivered!! Any suggestion is highly appreciated!

When did PayPal start approving chargebacks for INR when tracking indicates delivery?
Or, maybe, there's something you aren't telling us?

Sellers track record looks really good with many big ticket sales even higher than the laptop. Seller has been around since 2001. What red flags are you suspecting here?
To the OP - are you sure buyer filed an Item not received with Paypal and not a Not as described? Did Paypal actually give the money back or just put a hold on it until they decide? Where is the laptop now? Buyer still have it?

Hi,
Not sure what information you think I missed or did not tell. I attached screenshots of Shipping Delivery , Ebay's decision and Paypal's decision. I removed all personal information/ID number from those screenshots.
Please share your advise if you think there is something I can do clarify and revise the result.
Thank you,

You need to try and appeal that case ASAP since PayPal is saying that the proof of delivery could not be verified. If you appeal, perhaps you will get a new set of eyes to look at your case.
Good Luck
...and in the future, you may want to get signature confirmation on such high ticketed items...laptops and the such are big targets for scammers. 😥

Thanks for those questions.
1. I do not know where the laptop is. I shipped them out. Fedex showed they delivered it. Buyer said he did not have it. I posted some of screenshots from ebay /Fedex and PayPal to show what I described. (I guess either Buyer is lying , or Fedex did deliver it but someone took it before buyer) . However, regardless which one is, I do not feel I should be responsible for it.
2. PayPal did refund the money to buyer as soon as I received their verdict today.
3. I filed the appeal but not sure what is going to happen.
Any advise will be highly appreciated! Thank you

Could the part of not being able to be verified be from their phone support being down and a automated system reviewed and found in the buyers favor. I would try to get them on the phone a contest this as the tracking shows delivered to the buyers zip code and address perhaps on eBay go to the manage orders in the seller hub and select to print a new shipping label and before purchase take a screen shot of the buyers address on the purchase label screen, of course do not buy the actual label again. Then go to the view order details and take a screen shot. The two screen shots will show your label was for the buyers address on file and you did not change it. When you contest PayPal's decision point out after the item is delivered it is the buyers responsibility to make sure it is not left unattended outside of their residence.

For scam items like phones and laptops, I definitely will require a signature if the amount is anything over four hundred dollars. It is a little price to pay to protect yourself.

Call PayPal on the phone.

Even PayPal doesn’t require signature confirmation under $750
