I've thoroughly searched and found that the people reporting (in their terms) price gouging is up and active selling their products way above retail value making way more of a profit then I would had on my cleaning products for sure. Why would this be acceptable? Why isn't fair all across the board? Do some of these sellers have some kind of pull? I have 100%feedback and excellent customer service, when did this become an issue all of a sudden? I provide products that people want right now and DEFINITELY not making the profit the reporters are TRYING to get for theirs. How is this even fair? Why aren't the reporters giving their items away? Better yet, why aren't they at least not auctioning or listing at retail value? Thanks, Barbara

You hit the nail on the coffin, thanks 🙂

My point is who is to determine WHAT it is if it's not against the policy?

@griffithbarbara1 wrote:Why would you assume I'm profiting off of scared people? This kind of assumption has gotten way out of hand. The feedback (messages) appear to be people of sound mind very aware of their transaction and highly pleased. No one is told what to spend their money on and I don't break the bank for sure with my little $4-$20 profit. (depending if it's in bulk)
Because those are the very people paying $50 for TP or $25 for a small bottle of Purell, etc. The feel desperate and scared. They are just trying to get to the other side of this Pandemic safe and alive.

Or $51 for two cans of Lysol...

Ever since that ONE auction my prices were set as fixed... why aren't we talking about fixed prices priced fairly getting pulled?

EBAY, which they did. No one has the power to remove your listing or any other listing on this site. It is Ebay's site and Ebay decides what can and can't be listed here.
If and I say IF someone reported your listing, that did not cause it to get removed. The simple act of reporting a listing by another member does not get a listing removed. That is Ebay and ONLY Ebay that determines that.
As I said earlier, once Ebay cites you for this practice by removing one of your listings, your account is flagged so they watch it closely if you decide to ignore their warning. No one needs to report you to get a listing removed by Ebay. The seller's own actions are causing that because they are not following the mandates of Ebay.

Perhaps it would help if I asked my buying customers to join the discussion, maybe their insight might help a little more. I'm followed with pitchforks off of so many assumptions maybe it would help to clarify somethings like I priced my items at reasonable prices, they're in their right mind and not getting robbed with great customer service. Would hat help clear up some things?

Are you saying that you sold that $51 Lysol Spray listing to an eBay buyer?

???

If eBay removed your listing, it matters not how fair you or your customers may think the price is...eBay has your account flagged and any further listings of same and/or similar products will be monitored by eBay.
Therefore, until eBay lifts the ban you are not allowed to list those products no matter how entitled you feel that you should be allowed to list them...it is as simple as that. This is eBay's site, eBay's rules and no one but eBay is going to be able to change what is currently in place for the ban. Accept what is and wait out the ban.

I understand that but at the same time it's in response to these reporters that brag they do this hours at a time and get satisfaction out of it. If there's isn't a response to the reporting then why would they have it in the first place. It's the outcome from the sabotage so yes anyone does have that power at the end of the day that can push a button (IMO) but I was just wondering should I even wait it out or do them a favor 🙂

So, again, based on your Message #14, I'm asking if you are saying you sold that $51 listing for Lysol Spray to an eBay buyer? Did you or didn't you? Simple question.

Typically not something we do on the threads. Not something I would recommend.

It doesn't matter whether 1 person or 10 persons initially reported a listing, it is eBay's decision and any further reporting won't matter unless you were to continue to list the products and then eBay could decide to suspend your account.
In any case, why worry about who is reporting what...if you aren't listing the products in question, no one will be reporting yours...
and if you obey eBay's ban and don't list, then you are not putting your selling account at risk.
Just do yourself a favor, let it be and move on...

No I did not list the lysol at $51 if that's what you're asking?
