Paid but not shipped

Hey I bought an item on 25 Jul its been more than 10 days and the item status is paid but not shipped 

The seller dosent respond to my messages what can I do in this case?

 

By the way the expected dilvery date till 4 sep..

Please note that sellers are not required to answer questions. I think you should contact customer service directly for assistance.

You might have to wait until after the expected delivery date to file an item not arrived case.  It is irritating but that is one of those things that can happen when we buy overseas items.

you can't do anything til after that date.........which presumably you saw before you paid for the item.

Was it a lot of money?

 

I've seen scams like this before. Sellers have an extended handling time and the longest delivery date they possibly can. They sell a bunch of items, never send them, and then pull all the money, shut down their accounts, and run before the customers have hit the date they can open a case. By the time ebay catches on, I imagine the paypal and the connected bank account are both empty.

 

The scam used to be an extended handling and delivery that exceeded the 30 days, so that when you didn't receive your item ebay would just tell you that you missed the window to complain. They've fixed that now by changing the rules to 30 days after the last delivery date.

 

Honestly, I'd call ebay now and get them to check if the account is selling loads of stuff but not sending it.

I wish people would stop saying that. Ebay expects sellers to answer buyer's questions promptly.

 

As a seller, you're expected to:
Promptly resolve customer issues
Ship items on time, within your specified handling time
Manage inventory and keep items well stocked
Charge reasonable shipping and handling costs
Specify shipping costs and handling time in the listing
Follow through on your return policy
Respond to buyers' questions promptly
Be helpful, friendly, and professional throughout a transaction.
Make sure the item is delivered to the buyer as described in the listing
